Same thing happened when I was rear ended. The 2 times I needed it, it let me down. Luckily, I didn't need proof either time but if I did I'd have been SOL as they say. Davi*** Serious firmware issues and bugs. I’ve had both Wolfbox and Acumen rear view mirrors and I can honestly say they both a trash. If you talk to places that carry both brands they’ll say the same thing about each other. For me the G900 Pro right out of the box would lock up had to power on/off to be able to switch views. Voice commands would constantly not switch views or require a reboot, tried to update the firmware per wolf box directions and it went thru and at the end the mirror wouldn’t turn on, tried wolf box firmware reset software didn’t work so completely bricked the whole unit. IMO unless you use this for trail only runs it’s not worth it for daily driving as it has way too many internal issues, plus living in Vegas and even with a sunshade heat still can destroy those internal components. At the end of the day unless you drive something that’s totally blocking your view stick to a regular rear view mirror and as others have said you can’t really judge how far or close someone is behind you as the video can make it look like they are further back when they aren’t or vice versa. Luckily I was in the return window time frame to send it back but after using both Wolfbox and Acumen I’m just sticking to my OEM home link mirror and running a regular dash cam as the trouble and headache of the wolf box wasn’t worth it. The view of the lenses will still capture a good majority of the field of vision, so for best picture try to mount in the center if you have curved windows. But!! I was disappointed because after purchasing item I realized that there were other better updated versions of this dash cam and a nice feature of looking remotely which I needed. It would have been nice for AI assit tell me there are update choices or compare feature so I know to look at others. I thought N5 was the update one. It was easy to set up though. S*** I purchased two of these dashcams, one for myself and one for my wife. Within a couple of months, my camera stopped operating. However, ROVE sent me a replacement. It has now been 23 months since the original purchase, and both cameras have been permanently out of service for a few months. When they did work, it was only intermittently. The cameras would often shut off during hot summer days, and the suction cups would loosen enough that the camera would pop off the windshield. You are better off purchasing a dashcam that costs a little more and has a good warranty.
