So far some of my observations are that the 128g card from my last VIOFO cameras is too slow. I can only record at 2k 30. Next is with the installation. I like to have my dash cam on the passenger side so its out of my view. the cables on the camera are positioned in such a way that you have to criss cross the power and rear facing camera across the camera itself. If it is placed on the drivers side the cables flow in a nice liner clean way. If you do this on the passenger side and take 2 hours removing trim and hiding the 30 foot long rear camera cable. Once you get it all done and the rear facing camera doesn't work. You get to spend another 2 hours tearing it all out and starting over. I know its my mistake for not testing it before putting it all in place. I just want others to not make the same mistake. Their Viofo SD card that is supposed to be made for this camera is junk. The camera takes random pictures while driving even with the G Sensor on Low and Voice Control turned off. It want's me to reformat my SD card every time I turn around and the App doesn't connect to the camera because the camera Wi-Fi won't turn on even after a power reset so you have to fight with the thing to get Wi-Fi turned on. REDTIGER F17 4K 3 Channel Dash Cam, STARVIS 2 IMX675 HDR, 2160P+1080P+1080P Front Inside and Rear Triple Car Camera with 64GB 3 Overall, It's Okay, but I Expected More for the Price Mi*** Overall, this is an okay dash cam. I can retrieve videos relatively quickly, and it gets the job done for the most part. However, there are a few things that have been disappointing. One thing I dislike is that the dash cam has a fixed mount, meaning it cannot easily be taken down once installed. The company was kind enough to send me a suction mount, which I appreciate. The suction mount works, but part of the mount causes the camera to tilt slightly, resulting in videos that are off-center and crooked. While I appreciate the company providing an alternative mount, it hasn't completely resolved the issue. Another issue is the power connection. When I plug the dash cam into my car's cigarette lighter, it does not always turn on. I have to push the plug in extremely firmly to get it to power on. I did not have this issue with my previous dash cam, so I don't believe the car's outlet is the problem. I suspect I may have received a faulty power adapter. Another thing I've noticed is that the dash cam itself gets very hot to the touch during use. I can't say whether this is normal for this model, but it is something worth mentioning, especially considering the other issues I've experienced. For a dash cam at this price point, I expected better. The mounting setup and power connection are two things that should work properly without having to find workarounds. I shouldn't have to worry about whether the camera will turn on or whether my footage will be properly aligned. Overall, it's an okay dash cam, and retrieving videos is fairly quick. However, considering the higher price, I expected a more reliable product and a better overall experience. It has some good features, but the issues I've experienced make it difficult to recommend without reservations.
