It also shuts down after operating for a few hours in an air-conditioned space -- presumably some sort of thermal shutdown. My only slight concern is that I have to connect to the cameras “WiFi” to download footage and sometimes that takes a few tries before it connects. The cord seems plenty long for any size vehicle. The app is easy to navigate. The camera has been so reliable when I use my car. As long as it’s connected to power, it records even when the car is off. It’s also easy to move around. V Ne*** Just received and installed this dashcam... Overall it seems like a quality product but time will tell. the packaging and instructions are excellent. The app works good. The voice commands, responses and buttons are excellent. I was somewhat surprised that it did come with a 128GB microSD card even though AMAZON insisted that it DOES NOT, even though the picture was showing that it DOES. I ended up buying an extra card but not vendors or product fault. Several things are bothering me about this product. The first is that it seems to run somewhat hot. I am concerned it will burn itself out quickly. Another issue that find disappointing is that you have to buy additional cable for $30 to have parking surveilance and other features... Install was pretty straightforward and once everything was set up it worked exactly like I wanted. It switches into parking mode when the vehicle is shut off and goes back to normal recording when it’s started. The 4K front camera was the main reason I went with the Pro instead of the A229 Plus. Picture quality is excellent so far. It’s sharp, HDR handles bright skies and darker areas well, and the view is wide without looking overly distorted. I only have the front camera installed right now but plan to add the 2K rear camera later. GPS works well and can put speed, coordinates, date and time on the footage. The 5GHz Wi-Fi connection to the app has also been good. Once connected, it’s easy to change settings, look through recordings and download clips. Mounting is all 3M adhesive. There is no suction cup included. I actually prefer the adhesive mount for something that’s going to stay installed because it feels solid and doesn’t move around or have to fight the heat. One thing I did run into was the memory card. I originally used a 256GB SanDisk High Endurance card and formatted it in the camera. Within the first day I started getting a “chip slow” warning along with repeated beeping. I ended up replacing it with VIOFO’s 256GB Industrial Grade card. I’d recommend sticking with one of VIOFO’s approved cards from the start, especially with how much data the camera is writing in 4K. Overall I’m very happy with it so far. The video quality is excellent, parking mode works properly with the HK4 kit, GPS and Wi-Fi are useful, and I like being able to add the rear camera later without replacing the whole setup. My only real complaint is that you need to pay attention to memory card compatibility. B0D97Y4BLP US

I do have a few annoyances: - it defaults to a Split View of the dashcam and rear view cam with no setting to make it work the way most people want, despite having way too many settings for other stuff - at minimum, it’s displaying a blinking record light, time recorded, the resolutions of the cameras, audio status, and WiFi status. What I and most people want is just a plain rear display - the plugs come in on top, keeping them visible and in my case making them interfere with my headliner. It seems like it would be clever to have them come in the back. I added some 90deg cables to get them a little out of the way - the default attachment straps suck and you need to order the GM style bracket separately
