5 10 stars! Broo*** My cats absolutely adore it! They are notoriously finicky so I was concerned, but they both have barely stayed off of it. They could barely wait until it was put together!! Other notes: - It is the PERFECT height. I got the "large," because I wanted the top to be high enough for the smaller cat to look outside. Most cat trees are either super short (below window height) or super tall (they kind of take over a room). This is ideal. - It is the PERFECT width. We live in a small house, so I didn't want something that took up a ton of space. I also had read reviews of other cat trees that the really narrow ones were so stacked that less-than-nimble cats couldn't get from one level to the next, at least easily, because levels were right on top of each other with no offset. This tree solves both problems: base is wide enough to be extremely sturdy, but provides enough space for cats to climb up. - It is super study. 5 stars for construction. Hardware is solid, holes are lined up perfectly, and screws are big and substantial. Base is flat and secure and pieces screw on tightly for max stability. - Assembly was easy-ish. We kind of messed up the middle level and it took a few tries to get all the pieces tightened in the right direction but we got it. - Appearance is nice. Carpeting is thick enough to be comfy but not so shaggy that it traps insane amounts of hair. Carpeting attached securely and neatly. Color is perfectly neutral. - Cost? Unreal! This is 1/4 the cost of way crappier versions and it is FAR FAR superior in quality, size, and construction than any other version I have priced out! LOVE IT! >>> NOTE: the cat pictured in the top level just BARELY fits. She is a small-framed cat but to be fair, she is pretty chunky. When she's on her side, she has to completely scrunch in her paws to fit in and she still sort of oozes over the edge a bit. A large cat would have trouble. The cat on the bottom level is very old and can't climb anymore, but he would be too big to fit in the top.
