The only reason I leave 2 stars is because of the quality of the image, which is really good. Here is a list of the bad things that I have experienced with this monitor: - The monitor stopped working in less than a year. After some back and forth with support I shipped for repair and they fixed it (Thankfully it broke right before the 1st year, otherwise I would have been screwed). - It NEVER, I mean NEVER switches from one input to another when connected to two different devices. This is a pain because I have a work and a personal computer, and every time I have to switch to one I have to manually press the buttons, which by the way are slow as heck to wake up the monitor. - When trying to select the input many times it does not work and I have to try over and over, it feels like that stupid one button for everything idea is paying off, thanks Samsung!. - It only has 1 HDMI, yes I knew that before buying, but that is unacceptable for a monitor of this price and on these days. I always heard good things about Samsung monitors, but I'm, never buying one again. I'm an IT guy and have never seen a more stupid monitor than this. Usually other monitors image quality is their weak spot, but this one managed to have a good image and ignore all the other details. Seems like the electronics and whatnot are of high quality as the previous monitor was actually causing PC issues sort of? O.O Pretty great so far. Thought it was used or had water damage but the sticky tape on the bottom of the bezel just wasn't really visible, had to really get on the edge to finally peel it. I'm pretty happy. Hope it lasts a while. Stand is awkward though, i'm going to have to rig something up or change my setup a bit to fit it. Blacks are dark dark dark though which is great. Had to shave away at a shelf to fit the awkward bulb thing in the back. It sticks out right where it curves way more than expected and the stand is kinda meh, puts a ton of pressure on those two awkward prongs so it can tip forward without full support... still have like half an inch off the desk but the stand legs do sit flat so you have a little bit of wiggle room. Additionally, I recently found out that there is a firmware update for the monitor which improves the brightness and makes some changes to the monitor's menu/options. Some XV272U's already have it installed, some don't. The only problem - there is no way to install the update yourself since the monitor is lacking a USB port. I contacted Acer, and they said I'd have to package up and send them the monitor and then wait a few weeks for them to upgrade the firmware themselves and then ship it back. This is not only outrageously poor design, but also means if you get a second XV272U with the hopes of having two identical screens lined up, the screen on the new one could look different from your original one due to different firmware. The only reason I'm giving it 3 stars is because I was enjoying the monitor until the debacle with the second one as well as the firmware B0C63HDHPR US

I was quite suspicious to see a .03 response time at at this price point and so i double checked the dell specifications on their website and sure enough this monitor has significantly slower response time, anywhere from 4-8ms gray to gray. Makes you question what other "errors' there are in the advertised specifications. The monitor itself though is fairly solid, just giving a poor review due to the false advertising.
