It's very easy to set up - adjusting the dividers to fit my boards (a thick wooden one and a couple of thinner plastic ones) took just a few minutes, and everything stands up straight and stays put. The two V-shaped racks hold pot lids securely without them sliding around, and it's genuinely nice to grab a lid without unstacking three pans first. Build quality is solid - sturdy stainless frame with coated tips that don't scratch the boards or lids. The suction cup feet keep it steady in place and stop it from scooting around on the counter when I pull a board out, and honestly it holds more weight than it looks like it would be capable of. Even loaded with boards, it doesn't feel like it's going to flip over, and when it's not in use it's easy to stow away. The reason it's 4 stars instead of 5: it looks more solid in the pictures than it is in real life. That said, it is still of good quality - this isn't a cheap product, but it's certainly not a luxury one either. It doesn't fit an elegant or high-end kitchen; on a nicer counter it would look out of place. But, sometimes you just need a smaller work space without dragging out the giant board from the cupboard. This chopping board is tiny yet very solid. Out of the package, I really loved the color, the deep ebony finish really added its own personal charm to the wood. Additionally, I really liked that this little board came with a hanging hole and juice groove which is exactly what my larger scale ones have so there was absolutely no need to grab my big one out. Furthermore, it's also treated with oil which is exactly how my hubby treats our current boards. Personally I've encountered lots of cheaper cutting boards that were treated but finished with who really knows what and I don't like the idea of whatever chemicals some companies use getting chopped into my food. Overall, I'm extremely happy with this board it made an excellent addition to my kitchen, I've already gotten to use it multiple times now that I hardly ever put it away. And, for the price, I think I might just need to order more. Update: after using this board for a few weeks I've noticed that the surface is getting very rough and will need to be refinished. AlbaTellurav1000/3000 Grit Two‑Piece Natural Whetstone Set,Kitchen Knife Sharpener Kit with Non‑Slip Rubber Base Daily repair and polishing of knives 5 Much better edge than pull-through or electric sharpeners L*** This is my first experience with a whetstone, but I’ve wanted to try one for a long time. I’ve used both manual pull-through sharpeners and electric sharpeners pretty extensively, and while both will put an edge on a knife, they can be pretty rough on the blade. In my experience, the edge also never seems to stay sharp for very long. That’s what made me interested in learning to use a whetstone. It takes more time and a little more technique, but you can get a smoother, more consistent edge that seems to stay sharp longer. So far, that’s exactly what I’m getting. There’s definitely a learning curve, but even as a beginner I’ve been happy with the results. The stones themselves feel substantial and good quality, and the size gives you plenty of working surface for normal kitchen knives. The two different grits also make sense, with one for doing the bulk of the sharpening and the finer stone for finishing the edge. Cleanup is easy enough when you’re done, and I haven’t found them difficult to use once I got the basic technique down. My only real complaint is that I wish the set came with some sort of holder or non-slip base. I’ve been putting the stone on a damp washcloth on top of my cutting board, and that keeps it securely in place. Overall, this is a good introduction to whetstone sharpening and a big improvement over the quick-and-easy sharpeners I’ve used in the past.
