We have been somewhat worried about all of our plastic kitchen items and have made a conscious effort to switch to glass and stainless steel on almost everything. These were definitely a nice upgrade from our plastic cutting boards and even the wooden ones we have been using for a while. The 3 boards are all stainless steel and require care like most other stainless steel products. It does tell you to keep them oiled after each use, which is a personal preference in my opinion, but that definitely could extend the life of these. They are pretty solid and very thin, but feel very strong. It would take some serious effort to get these to bend and/or warp. As long as you keep them stacked neatly and placed in a flat manner, you shouldn’t have to worry about warping at all. The package comes with your 3 standard sizes for cutting boards and I attached a photo to show what they all look like stacked up against my biggest kitchen cutting knife. As you can see, they are already starting to show scratches, but that is expected. I definitely would not put this in my dishwasher; we hand wash these every time and try to dry them off immediately. They may be dishwasher safe, but we prefer to hand wash them. Overall, if you are trying to move away from plastic and/or wooden cutting boards, these are a must-have. For the price you pay, you actually get some decent quality cutting boards. I would pay this price again and again if I had to; they are definitely worth the value that you pay for. Have a 36" induction stove, cook on ceramic cast iron cookware that I have owned for nearly 50 years, have both KitchenAid and Cuisinart food processors and a Cuisinart stand mixer-- all on the countertop. I share that so that you know I truly enjoy cooking and understand and live by quality products. Why would a guy with all of that be interested in a $40 mandolin slicer? Time. If I'm only slicing a small quantity, it's a lot of work to select a fp blade, install, bring the finished product to the stove, dirty a spatula to scrape the bowl and then clean the fp bowl and put it away. This mandolin slicer takes up minimal counter/drawer space. Sets up easily. Has a sharp stainless steel blade, and is easy to clean--merely rinse under the kitchen sprayer for most uses, or run through the dishwasher for stickier uses. It IS dishwasher safe. Easy to adjust slicing thicknesses for my fussy needs. I set up this slicer on a silicone cutting board where the slicer's suction cups hold it in place securely. All of the slices... be it a Vidalia onion, whole peppers, carrots.... fall nicely onto that. Then just use my knife to slide them into the pan. It is a time saver and although I have only owned it for a month, has a sturdy feel to it leading me to believe it will be around for years to come. I looked at and read reviews for many of these over a period of months. When I saw this one available, I didn't hesitate. I tried it and I am so glad I did. Overall, I like these feet for the good quality and versatility. You don’t have to limit these to just electronics, they work for just about anything that needs to be elevated, such as cutting boards. I would not use these for furniture or anything that is heavy. I followed the instructions to clean with warm soapy water, I heated the pan up and tested with a splash of water. After I saw the water bead across the bottom of the skillet, I added a little bit of butter and fried an egg. This pan is definitely nonstick as advertised. I then proceeded to fry turkey bacon, which is very lean, and it did not stick to the bottom of the pan either. I was also able to stirfry some vegetables in ground turkey. Excellent results! Cleaning was easygoing. I just did warm soapy water after cooking the egg and bacon and used the same heating method before cooking Ground turkey and broccoli stir fry. The taste of the food was amazing.
