My husband had it assembled and attached within 10 minutes by just glancing at the included instructions. The bar “top” is an accordion style for easy storage. The top also allows for water drainage. The only negative is the black coating gets VERY hot in the sun so use with caution if you have small children! I imagine the silver (all stainless steel) option would also be extremely hot with direct sun so take this into consideration when considering purchasing this attachable pool bar. The pool bar feels like a very durable accessory that should last for years to come with proper cleaning and storage. With a coated stainless steel base and a coated aluminum top, the unit is protected well from the water and exposure. The bar top is strong and will hold plenty of weight. I scoffed at the description advising this bar top would support 150 lbs. However, this bar is sturdy! You can see in my review photos my husband hanging onto the bar top and it doesn’t budge with his weight (and that is definitely above 150lbs). It will easily accommodate the weight so load up your coolers! Although there appears to be a bow in the center, the unit lies very flat with proper adjusting. We’ve since leveled ours out as you’ll see in another review photo where we are actively using the pool bar. Although the price of the pool bar is a little steep, this accessory is well worth it. UPF 50+ Sun Protection Mosquito Jacket for Men, Lightweight Cooling Shirt with Face Cover, UV Bug Proof Clothing 5 Comfortable and Functional Andy*** My wife and I live in Southern Florida, where blazing-hot sunshine and voracious mosquitos, flies, and other bugs are a normal part of daily life. It's important to protect one's self from these whenever doing any kind of outdoor work, especially yardwork. I typically wear a hat to keep the sun off my head, and spray on LOTS of insect repellent to try and avoid as many painful/itchy bites as possible. Sometimes, however, despite my best efforts, I miss an area with the spray and STILL get bit. I ordered this Relexit UPF 50+ Sun Protection Mosquito Jacket to give me a fighting chance to be protected from UV rays and bug bites. The jacket looks like the same ones that I've seen professional landscapers in the area wear. I often wondered, however, how they could stand being so completely covered with clothing in such brutally hot weather. But when I tried on the Relexit hoodie I was amazed how cool it felt to wear. This jacket is made from a VERY breathable fabric blend which is soft and comfortable. I saw in the product ad that the jacket is rated with a UPF 50+ rating. At first, I thought this was a typo - I've never heard of "UPF", only "SPF" which is a measure of protection against the sun's rays. But I looked it up and learned that UPF is really a thing. SPF, as it turns out, measures sunscreen protection against UV-B rays on bare skin, while UPF measures the protection of FABRIC against both UV-B and UV-A rays. So this garment is rated to block 1/50th of the sun's UV rays (98%), which is very good. I haven't yet tried out the jacket while actually doing yardwork, I just tried it on that one time (and my wife tried it on as well), so I can't vouch for the actual effectiveness of the UV ray and bug bite protection, but I'm pretty sure it will be effective at keeping bugs from biting me at least, and more than likely for the UV protection also. The garment is VERY light, so I guess this accounts for the extreme comfort. It also scrunches up very small - so small, in fact, that it comes in a plastic jar (approximately 7" high and 4" in diameter} with a screw-on lid. The design of the jacket is functional, with a large zippered pocket in front of the tummy area, and the mosquito netting integrated into the hood to keep bugs away from the face, head, and neck areas. I like being able to pull the sleeves down over my hands for a little extra sun protection when I’m out for a long bike ride or spending the day near the water. I have an extreme sun sensitivity, so this is great for me. One thing I will mention is that this isn’t one of those super soft, buttery shirts. It feels more like performance fabric. But it’s not itchy, scratchy, or uncomfortable either. It’s just made for a different purpose, and for that purpose it works really well.
