Things I liked: - Seemed well made - Looked good - The removable rolling chassis is clever - Takes a shoulder strap (which my bag does not) - Lots of separate zippered pockets - The interior pockets (the ones inside the zippered pockets, into which you would stuff smaller items) had mesh sides, so you'd be able to see what's in them to some extent - Extra clip (in case you lose one of the four needed to attach the bag to the chassis) provided, attached to the rolling chassis - Waterproof "bonnet" for the bag, cleverly stored in the rolling chassis, so it's not using space in the bag - Some sort of white bag, perhaps for storage--it was bundled with the strap, which I didn't undo, since I'd already decided to return the bag by that point; in any case, it's an extra! - A bit smaller than the Victorinox, and thus lighter Reasons I returned it (I'm not calling these "things I didn't like", because they're personal taste): - The many separate pockets don't work for what I cram in my bag: I have several larger items, which would have trouble in those separate, smaller pockets - My Victorinox is bigger overall (thicker--same width) - I worry a bit about the leather vs. the ballistic nylon of the Victorinox - The pocket for the laptop itself has nowhere to put the power brick and cord, unlike the Victorinox (some people would see this as a plus, I realize) - A bit smaller than the Victorinox (yes, I listed that as something I liked above--the problem is, I lug too much junk around!) Things I actually disliked: - The Victorinox handle will lock partway extended, which is useful when you must go up or down stairs with the bag - No pocket for a water bottle! I used to own a bag with two of these; the Victorinox has one, and I wish it had two, but none is bad - The clips aren't attached; it would seem like they could be tethered to the rolling chassis so they don't get lost So since my Victorinox is fairly new and going strong, I had no reason to prefer this one over it. I certainly wasn't going to be swapping my stuff back and forth between them, so it was a binary choice. If the Victorinox had been dying and was no longer available, I might well have kept this and ultimately been happy with it. The top is screw on rather than friction fit and seals well; have had no leaks, even when it's flopped over in the back of the car. Cons: Pricey for what it is. Going from 1 gallon supermarket bottled water to this saves me about $1.35 per fill which puts my break even at around 16 fills. Instructions were severely lacking in clarity and the pictures were small with poor detail. All the necessary hardware (screws-77 in all) were not in a bag but had been screwed into their appropriate holes only to be removed prior to assembly. Key pieces were not marked as to front or back ot their relationship to other parts. Some parts were pre-assembled only to be taken apart prior to the assembly of other parts. The parts alligned well so that the screws were able to be inserted with minimal effort, however the threaded holes were poorly done and some were stripped prior to my assembly. The water bottle at the bottom of the unit that functioned to give the heater ballance and additional weight was poorly engineered. There was an ill fitting plug at the top that caused the water to leak out when the heater was tilted and moved using its attached wheels. This plug was in addition to a screw type drain/filler hole. The top plug was not accessable without removing 4 bolts and the propane tank retaining ring. The diffuser lid (top) was very "flimsey" and not much thicker than heavy duty aluminum and as a result the lid warped considerably during the heating process. Had I not been somewhat negligent in my research I would have purchased a unit from another manufacturer that used more refined engeneering principals and a heaver gage material. To me this is a very basic heater with a very limited life-span. You would be well advised to look elsewhere. B004GBQVBQ US

However, I bought this item primarily because the description says it has a push-pull cap which it does not. It has a bite valve instead of a push-pull cap. On other bottles I have had with this type of bite valve, it works well until it suddenly degrades and you have leaking and the bite valve will not close completely. That hasn't happened yet to this product I have but it will. The combination of biting to drink and exposure to powdered drinks will cause the breakdown. Bottles with this type of bite value should come with a replacement valve because the valve isn't going to breakdown when its convenient. That is why a true push-pull cap would be better.
