Now for the good, it appears well made, seems like a good value overall, I really like the lights and the remote works very well and I like that it rides lower in the back of my head than a lot of other helmets offering more protection which is why I wear a helmet in the first place. The application itself wasn't the problem — the decal went on cleanly and adhered well to the curved helmet surface without lifting at the edges. If the main selling point weren't reflectivity, this would be a reasonably well-made peel-and-stick decal. But for a product whose entire purpose is being seen at night, weak reflection is a significant miss. This isn't the kind of accessory where "good enough" cuts it — for a safety application like helmet visibility, I need to actually trust that it'll do its job when a driver's headlights hit it in the dark, and I don't have that confidence here.
