I went with Shokz (formerly Aftershokz) as they have been in the business of making this type of headphone for a while. They feel great, are lightweight, and are comfortable for wearing while I am at work. I currently work in a machine shop and have to keep one ear open if listening through earbuds or headphones. Using these for the first time today, I was able to listen to music in stereo for the first time since I started at this job. The quality of stereo sound is really quite good and they are a very good purchase for me. It is worth noting that these are an investment and should be taken well care of. The audio quality of the speakers is good, though the bass is lacking (as it is in all earbuds). The microphone on the device is acceptable for indoors calling in a quiet environment but does not filter out noises well. This earbud is not equipped with ANC or pass-through functionality. Most of the reason I give only 3 stars is because of how uncomfortable these earbuds are. My ears are relatively large and even I found these earbuds painful to keep in for more than 30 minutes. The battery life on the buds is not impressive but not bad. Mine lasted a little over 4 hours on a charge. I will say the magnet in the charging case is strong enough that your earbuds will not come loose, thereby halting the charging, while in your pocket or a bag. I purchased the Momentum True Wireless 2—also a Sennheiser earbud—and am much happier with it in every regard. I bought this for the voice controls which were phenomenal at first, but then I downloaded a few apps and realized that the voice controls didn't translate to any of the apps. I had issues with the Bluetooth abd issues with the network. I have 1.2 gigabit internet, WiFi 6e (got 1.34 MB speeds on my Pixel 6 pro phone) and this thing can't even load 60Mb (megabit) videos. The Bluetooth cuts off the end frequently but I have had times where it works flawlessly (they are 1/8 tries). I expect more from a premium product. I'll replace mine and set another review if it works better but for now this thing is junk. My google TV functions better at 1/3 the price. I'm using sony XM4 wireless earbuds which are Sony's most expensive and latest earbuds. I tried tested on a $20 insignia brand speaker I use in my shower and the sound worked fine after 4 pairing attempts. The first 3 didn't work even after hearing it "successfully" pair 3 times. The only issue is that sometimes one of them does not line up correctly in the charging case, so sometimes I have to wiggle it around to see that charging light come on.
