I think this really might last and the hundred times just like they say and the way that it cleans is also amazing. When I cleaned my basement steps this morning, these steps are wooden steps that are painted gray and they are full of cat hair and cat litter from them walking up and down the steps, old cat food and everything else that the dog and the cats drag up and down. And they're grimy. And they get that way quick, but with the color I have it painted. It's kind of hard to tell. And so I wiped one off this morning because it had a particular mess on it with that bamboo towel, and I was like what look at this!! It cleaned that stuff so easily when I normally really have to scrub and it's difficult and I wiped across it a couple of times. It took off everything and it was clean. And so I did all 13 steps took me about 5 or 6 minutes, oh my goodness!! That was worth the money of the roll just for that. And I rinsed it out and it went through the washer and it's just fine. No I'm not going to put it through the washer. Every time I use it I use the other one. That's upstairs stairs here for many, many, many many things and just rinse it out with soap and water in the sink. Can I say enough good things about these? Probably I cannot 😁 Do I think every household should buy a roll of these? Yes I do. Especially if you have pets or children. Or if you're an older person like me? Matrix 1 As a busy parent of twins - this is NOT the robot vacuum for us R*** For my review, it's important to know why I bought this -- to make my life easier as a parent of twin infants (under two years old) and an owner of two cats (who frequently track litter throughout the house). Otherwise, I need to vacuum/mop daily given the amount of food/fluids spilling on my floors during the day, and I do not want my children picking up all this debris and putting it in their mouths. And after 4 months of use -- I have been SO disappointed by the Dreame X60 Ultra. Main issues: * The main reason I bought this specific model (the 2026 refresh), at a MAJOR cost premium (I paid $1,349), is because it was advertised to cross 3.47 inch thresholds. The bathroom where I keep my cat's Litter Robot has a 3.25 inch threshold, and the Dreame still does NOT cross over it. I have seen it struggle multiple times to push itself over, and then it gives up. This is the grossest, messiest room of my house, because my cats kick up litter daily -- but the only way to get robot there is if I pick it up and manually place it in this room. In theory I could create a ramp. But I wish I could just return the X60 Ultra, and have saved $400+ by instead buying the X50 or some earlier iteration product. That was my original plan, and I paid extra for the X60 Ultra was for this high threshold feature. * I find the Dreame has inconsistent object detection -- at least once a week, it will not pick up a very obvious colorful sock or cord on the ground, it will eat it up, then get stuck for hours until I notice that it has not been working. This is a major problem because I *cannot* run my Dreame during the middle of the day when my young toddlers are running around (they beat it up and try to stand on it, etc). So if the only window I can run the Dreame is after they got to bed (7pm+), and before us parents get into bed (11pm) since it's too loud and wakes us up, then losing hours of runtime because the Dreame got stuck somewhere is a major problem. * Similar issue, this poor object detection means I cannot trust the robot to automatically clean up the cat litter tracking around the house when I go out for vacation. Inevitably a few days into vacation, the robot will get stuck on something, and then it sits there until we get home days or weeks later. * The mobile app (required usage to operate it), is often slow and non responsive. I think it's because it selectively picks up my wifi, or the robot doesn't pick up wifi on one side of my home / very far from the dock (even though my other devices work fine on that side of the house). Which means I am not able to stop the robot from vacuuming when it's 11pm and I need the robot to go back to its dock so we can go to sleep. I have to physically pick up, and re-dock it manually -- it’s heavy. * The voice control is laughably bad. It absolutely NEVER understands basic comments, like "Hey Dreame, clean the kitchen" (even though I have labeled all my rooms correctly in the app). Or "Hey Dreame, resume cleaning". This feature is utterly broken. Other minor UX issues: * The mobile app does not have a "dark mode", which is pretty shocking in 2026. It is frustrating since the most logical time to run the vacuum is in the evening (after my small children are in their cribs). It burns into my eyes. * After some time, Dreame wants to start milking you for more money on its replacement parts. Okay, but can you at least make it easy for me so I know where to buy genuine parts? There's an entire shopping feature in the app, and it very clearly says when I am due to replace things like the side brush, but then it illogically doesn’t give me a link to the parts. (At least the app does give instructions or videos how to clean pieces in-app) * There are so, so many ads in the app. I already spent $1400 including tax, can you at least not advertise to me after that expense? * The robot runs out of battery about 2-3 hours in, and goes back to re-charge. That's fine, but then it waits to get to a FULL charge before resuming cleaning. Unfortunately because I can only start my robot at 7pm (outside my toddlers' schedule), that means it wants to start running past 11pm when my family is trying to sleep, and this thing is too loud to leave running at night. I wish it could just intelligently decide to continue resuming after it gets another 20-30% of charge, rather than going to a full bar. Instead, I have to manually remember to tell it to resume cleaning after a reasonable charge time.
