You might also have to swirl or stir the crystals around if you cat goes pee in the same spot everytime. It helps keep the crystals fresher longer. All that is still less work than cleaning the litter box yourself every day. I have 1 cat and a box of litter last less than a month. Now with more pets in the home, we’ve introduced additional boxes which I have to keep up with more to help reduce odor but I think this litter helps a lot! I would say it is low tracking bc it certainly is not dusty at all and I rarely find pieces of it around my apartment but I still need a larger mat outside of each of my boxes to catch litter. My kitties certainly bring a fair amount out when they exit the box but this could really depend cat-to-cat. I work with cats at a rescue as well and we use clay clumping litter (more cost effective) and I will say this litter is so much better. It’s lighter, controls smell, and not dusty at all. The only downside is price. Clay litters are much more affordable and still effective. For my 2 cats, I can make two bags last a few months (we have multiple boxes which I think makes the litter last a little longer- they don’t soil any one box too much). I think if I had to purchase litter each month, I would have to consider another brand just because this one is so expensive comparatively but I genuinely have not tried a better litter out there.
