It also performs well when cooking pan style chicken from raw, producing even browning and good texture. Pizza reheats extremely well — crispy, evenly heated, and close to fresh. The pizza mode works best when you remove all other trays and use only the pizza rack and drip tray. Most cooked meats reheat nicely, but fatty fried pork chunks don’t crisp properly. In the crisper tray, excess fat drips onto the heating elements; in the baking pan, the fat pools and prevents crisping. It takes longer than expected to heat up and releases a noticeable amount of heat into the room. *Noise* The oven is very quiet. The loudest sound is the mechanical timer clicking. Otherwise, it runs with a low hum that’s barely noticeable. *Controls & Preheating* The simple dial controls are easy to understand, but there’s no real time temperature indicator, so you can’t tell when it has finished preheating. You have to estimate based on time. *Build & Heat Output* The exterior gets hot to the touch during use. It has vents on all sides and needs space around it for airflow. It also outputs a lot of heat while running and takes about 15–20 minutes to cool down enough for cleaning. The stainless steel exterior looks nice but smudges easily and takes a little effort to keep clean. *Cleaning* The drip tray is very easy to slide out and wash. I found that since this air fryer is so small - it heats up quickly. No preheating and the food was ready in 2 minutes less time than the packages called for. This air fryer will let you know halfway through the cooking time, when you need to shake or flip the food. It will beep 10 times. So cool! The crisper plate can be used in two ways - you just have to flip it over. One side to allow more air under the food and the other, leaves more room for more food. The control panel is clear; simple and easy to navigate. The lights are bright and can be seen and understood easily. This air fryer is designed to look cool, clean and compact. Plus it comes with a storage lid for leftovers. Just like all Kismile products, this one is a game changer. The build quality is not as durable or sturdy as anticipated despite its stainless steel housing and glass door. The simple white finish that looks cheap and low-end on the counter. It includes a wire rack, bake tray, crumb tray, adjustable timer, and has features like temperature control, which would lead one to believe it has everything needed for the basic baking, toasting, broiling, and reheating functions. But it just doesn't seem to work terribly accurately. The size and thus capacity is fairly limited, though that's probably the biggest consideration with this oven. It's perfectly usable for toast, reheating leftovers, and smaller meals, but the interior gets crowded pretty quickly when you're trying to cook anything larger. The 1200W heating element works as expected and the controls are simple, although I wouldn't describe this as a particularly feature-rich toaster oven. I don't feel like it consistently cooks the same way on the same settings each time, and I get varied results that don't make me very happy. Overall, I would consider the quality, value, and performance to be average for a compact toaster oven. It isn't a bad appliance and it works mostly as advertised, but I don't think the current price point represents a good value when you consider the relatively small cooking capacity and basic feature set.
