I would suggest for others to remove the protective film from the top thinner shelves BEFORE assembling them because some of it is literally impossible to remove once the table is fully assembled leading me to have to disassemble to peel off the film & reassemble. Also make certain that you are looking at the outer side of the upper shelves while you are tightening the bolts because you can over tighten & bend the area where the hooks hang, so watch for it to warp inward & then reverse your allen wrench a bit to make sure they're not too tight. The table took me around 40 minutes to put together by myself (5'2" woman), I only needed help from my daughter when it came to the lower shelf because the legs wobble out of place not allowing you to slide the shelf on by yourself; I had planned on pushing the bolts into the legs, then allowing the shelf to sit on the bolts & then sliding them out one at a time & inserting them into the shelf but the legs are too wobbly for that at that stage before you fully tighten them in place. I consider this table to be a fantastic value & I can see it lasting our household forever as long as no one does anything weird to it, as you can see from my pic (please don't judge, our house is being renovated) the table is the perfect size for a Patbrela 34Qt Toaster Oven which is 17" wide & 15" tall as well as a Presto Pizzazz which is about 14" Wide & 18" Deep (with it's motor), I have the upper shelf in the highest position because of the toaster oven. A little dot light is in front of the preselected cooking option but not the cooking option itself, like roast, bake, etc. I am older so I already have difficulty seeing some things and this is a design flaw in my book. #3) when pulling the oven rack (or any other cooking rack) out, be prepared for the rack to slide downward towards you. There is no interior rack support mechanism to keep the rack from doing this. If you are cooking anything with any weight to it, it could end up on you or the floor if you're not prepared for the downward slide. Personally, I need to pull the rack out to be able to get a good grip on what's cooking whether to remove, baste, etc. This is a troublesome design flaw to me. Oven 4 Versatile countertop oven S*** I live in the south where summers are HOT and running my oven heats up my kitchen. I was excited to get this countertop convection oven/air fryer/toaster oven combo so I wouldn’t have to run my oven for a few months out of the year, thus saving my ac from running as much and, hopefully, lowering my electric bill. This convection oven combo works well overall and is a beautiful appliance. This has a 3-year warranty, much longer than many appliances. This oven does not turn off automatically when cooking is done, though the timer will continue to beep until you turn it off. The light is handy and illuminates well so you can check your food without opening the door, although it would be nice if it came on when you opened the door. I did not test the temperature probe. There is ample room inside for large dishes or to cook two smaller items on different racks. The preheat time on this is comparable to my electric oven on some settings. Using the knobs to adjust the timer is a bit tedious yet doable. The door is spring-loaded so it does stay open at various positions if you need it to. I cooked several foods on various settings. I made tortilla pizzas using the convection mode and they had to cook much longer than when I make them in the oven. They also cooked unevenly, with burned spots around one edge and the center and other edge slightly undercooked, despite repeatedly extending the time. Further, the pan they were on shifted during cooking with two edges popping up. This also happened when using other pans when cooking other items. I made a quiche using the bake mode and the edges turned slightly brown while the center was perfectly set. Toast cooked well yet seemed to take a longer time than when using a toaster. The setting to pick your number of slices and lightness/darkness is handy. This convection oven made the best brownies and cookies I've had in some time. I made cookies and baked them on the regular bake and convection bake settings. The convection bake setting provided the most rise and nice, crispy edges. Those cooked on the regular setting turned out nice and moist, albeit without the crispy edges (my favorite part). I also made brownies using the regular bake mode; there was a nice rise and the brownies were moist yet not wet with slightly crispy edges. I did not test these on the convection setting. I tested the air fryer mode and had to leave the food in longer than with my traditional air fryer. It did not crisp up as it should. Baking chicken worked well and it came out moist. I made a meatloaf and cooked it at the same time and temp as when making it in the oven. It cooked evenly and tasted the same as if done in the oven. The proofing setting on this is amazing. I wanted to bake bread on a damp, rainy day. I put my dough in the proofer and it turned out fabulous, with a huge rise, much higher than I’d ever had when allowing the dough to proof on the counter. The bread rose nicely, baked well and tasted delicious. I cooked several items using the included pans. The flat pan shows signs of rust after only a few uses. I did not put the pan in the dishwasher, although it is marked as dishwasher safe. I used an SOS pad to get a lot of the discoloration off; some remains in several areas despite repeated scrubbing. One of the bars on a rack was not welded on properly, something that should have been caught in quality control, especially for an item at this price point. Of concern is that the front, top and sides got extremely hot when this is in use. The instruction booklet does warn about this, yet I feel this is quite dangerous for children, the elderly and anyone who may bump against it accidentally. Even my cabinet pulls above the convection oven combo got very warm when it ran for a long time, despite ample clearance. If you’re a baker with a home business this would be a good addition for your kitchen and you would get a lot of use out of it while delivering wonderfully cooked goodies and breads. I do feel the price is rather high for your average consumer and for the quality. I also feel that at this price point there should be consistent, even cooking and the pans should not warp or rust, especially after so little use. Overall, this is a nice oven that takes some trial and error to figure out which items cook best in it and to get the cooking times right. Bread does not toast evenly on both sides, only on the top, and only towards the back, and I must turn the bread over in order to toast the inadequately toasted bottom. Also, frozen waffles brown much better towards he back of the of the toaster, and much less so towards the front. Same top and bottom issue; they must be turned over. Also, I was wondering why certain foods did not cook properly even though time and temperature were correctly chosen. My sister has noticed the same things with her Brevilles. The oven is actually 10 degrees less than what shows on the display as I discovered by using an oven thermometer. I am concerned that manufacturing and production corners are perhaps being cut for budgetory reasons. What a mistake there nice ovens but have a short life only lasted 13 months . So I went back to a Cuisinart . This oven does anything you ask of it just as good as an overrated Breville ! Cuisinart may have slacked on quality control though as the Convection and clock buttons are mislabeled! Decided to keep it thought instead of exchanging as it is easy to remember! Would have given a 5 star had it not been for the mislabeling! Cuisinart TOB-135N Deluxe Convection Toaster Oven Broiler, Brushed Stainless, Silver 3 Waste of Money Initially - Updated for Good Customer Service Robert i*** Update: Review has been updated to three stars. I contacted Cuisinart customer service (aka Conair) and was surprisingly offered a replacement oven as my purchase was within a specific time window. They had me cut the power cable off the oven and send them a photo, after which they shipped a replacement. Their responsive customer service brought up my rating, but (1) it was a very defective product to begin with, and (2) the entire process of emails back and forth until I received the replacement took 16 days, during which I was without this oven. Fortunately, I invested in a Breville as a replacement (far, far superior product) so this one is now destined for charity. I purchased this oven in Jan 2023 to replace an old Cuisinart toaster oven which had given me very reliable service for over ten years and as I have several other Cuisinart products in my home. I find this particular product, however, to be absolutely terrible! Almost everything I bake or heat in it comes out burned. Using two separate and very reliable oven thermometers here are some results: At a setting of 400 degrees, the thermometers registered between 450 and 475. At a setting of 350 degrees they registered 375 to 425. At a setting of between 325 and 350, the oven completely burns parchment paper, which is oven safe to 425. And the worst, at a setting of 250 degrees the thermometers registered 375! Moreover, at the 250 setting, the oven stays in Preheat mode, never stopping to indicate it has reached the correct temperature while anything inside it burns to a crisp as it continues to heat. The oven is located in a well ventilated position on the kitchen counter and is unplugged after each use according to the instructions in the manual. (Although this is a ridiculous design as the clock has to be reset each time it is plugged back in.) After owning many Cuisinart products over they years, they have now lost a customer. My advice would be not to waste money on this product and buy a quality one (i.e., Breville), which I am now going to do. B06WGNC8Q4 US
