I have a 128gb SD card in this thing *and* I pay for their monthly motion detection hosting plan.. The nightvision stays on throughout the day despite being set to "Auto". Also the thing just randomly notifies me about motion detection. There doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to why but sometimes it just flat-out doesn't send push notifications despite having 6 or 7 straight motion captures, and sometimes it notifies me constantly. Keep in mind that regardless of the situation, motion clips are coming through on the camera in the app, it just doesn't let me know about them intermittently. Honestly when the thing works its half of the time, the video quality is excellent and the audio quality is mediocre, but it's just so spotty as far as when it wants to work. It's reliable in the same vein that Senators are truthful. Sure maybe it's working perfectly now but give it 8 minutes... Not really the type of "security" system that money should be wasted on. The ability to have dual streams going is a nice touch, having the HD stream accessible on channel 1 for those that know about RTSP access of cameras, and you can set the SD mode on channel 2 for those devices that might have to worry about network connection speeds (like on a cell phone) Speaking of steams, being able to record locally to an SD inside the camera, or push the video to a locally run FTP server, or even a NAS is also a nice touch, so you can store events in multiple locations, or utilize the Amcrest Cloud for storing of your captures even. Like most devices you want accurate time for records, you can sync this with a time server (like the one run by the National Institute of Science and Technology, the one I use wherever I can), so you know it’ll always have perfectly accurate time, so long as it has an internet connection, and would sync with every device set to the same time server, so you know all playback will be in sync with any other cameras you may have in use. I've bought 3 of these and so far each one has worked. I even received a letter by normal mail with company contact info in case I had any trouble with them. Only complaint I've read online was that some people had broken adjustment nuts where the arm attaches to holder, but mine are fine and I was just careful not to over tighten the plastic nut. If it snaps at some point I'm sure its a standard threading I can pick up at local hardware store for probably 50 cents so I'm not worried about it. The actual phone holder is stronger then I expected. I thought it would be some type of clicking plastic that barely holds anything, but its a pretty strong spring retraction. And the inside of each clamp has a rubber pad that grips phone/tablet. One side clamp has two holes, and the other side has one long hole. The holes work great for mounting my EMeet C690 webcam, the cord went through the smaller hole so I ran it along flex arm to keep cable out of way. And the little webcam stand/arm slid right down into the larger hole on other side of clamp. So now I can adjust my webcam to anywhere I want. The other 2 I bought are holding camera and tablet at friend's house so I can see game board and people when I play games with them remotely because I can't get to them. B07QP6G5JV US

The clamps I'm using are just basic squeeze clamps with 1/4 camera mounts, they're out there for $10-15 a pair. These light boxes are so light that a clamp can easily hold the weight. The stands that come with the light boxes are useable but pretty cheesy, do not count on them for much. Note I did buy this item with a pretty solid discount/sale and am very happy at that price.
