It does say "webcam" in the title. It does very well as a PC webcam and is aobve average. Make sure to use a high speed 3.0 USB port or it will be worse quality. I guess I mistakenly thought, that since it includes a ring light, it would be more geared to content creation. it is not. It is a nice starter kit and has a good accesory package. if you really want to step up your Zoom and Teams meetings, it is a nice upgrade. If you want tit for web content, it falls a bit short but would get you started. As another reviewer noted, it seems to be wide angle geared and is not a true representation but slightly elongated. Dell Laptop - 7th Gen Intel Core i5, GTX 1060 6GB Graphics, 8GB Memory, 128GB SSD + 1TB HDD, 15.6", Matte Black 4 Does not come with a 4K screen! Great Computer TJTr*** Let me start out by saying that this is a fantastic computer. It is always very nerve racking to spend $1,000+ on a computer online without being able to see what you are actually going to get. All in all I've been pleased with only one major disappointment. The computer I received does not have a 4K UHD screen as advertised. When I opened the package, the computer’s box had a label with the computer specs on it. The screen resolution was listed as 1920x1080 FHD. After setting up the computer I double checked this by trying to adjust the screen resolution and sure enough the highest setting was 1920x1080. This was very disappointing, but this computer still offers a lot of great things at a reasonable price. Next, keep in mind is that the screen size is 15.6 inches from corner to corner but the bezel around the screen adds almost an inch on either side, so in total the computer is 18 inches from corner to corner. Here are the specs about the computer I received: 16 GB of RAM 128GB SSD & 1 TB Hard Drive Graphics card is the GTX 1060 with Max-Q Design Intel 7th gen i7 processor 1 USB C, 3 USB 3.1, 1 Ethernet port Built in webcam. Resolution is 1280x720. The power button has a built in finger-print scanner The keyboard is red. There is a button to turn the backlight off, dim, and bright, but it doesn’t change colors. There is no CD-Drive. It does have built in WiFi and Bluetooth. Other Thoughts: Construction and case are solid and sturdy. Heat: As with any computer this will get hot during heavy gaming but otherwise it stays very cool to the touch (I was pleasantly surprised at how cool it stays). Additionally, when it does get hot the area that gets hot is in the back middle of the computer (Around the base that the screen pivots around). Any areas that your hands would naturally come into contact with (trackpad and keyboard, or if moving the computer around then the sides and bottom) don’t get very hot. My previous laptop could almost cook food on the keyboard which, as you can imagine, made it very uncomfortable to type on. I have no such issues about heat about this computer. As another additional comment, there are two fans pointed underneath the left and right sides of the computer that cool it down. If you plan on running intensive programs then be mindful what kind of surface you place your computer on. I’m sure that normally it would be on a desk or table, but if you have it on a bed or pillow or other unconventional surface it may block the airflow that keeps the computer cool. Not much bloatware - I believe I uninstalled 3 or four games (candy crush, solitaire etc.) There is a lineup of Dell service programs, but they haven’t bothered me yet and they are simple enough to uninstall. To wrap things up this is a great computer at a great price. If it had the 4K screen I would give it 5 stars hands down.
