The anti-shake stabilization is especially useful on my motorcycle because it keeps the footage much smoother. The wide-angle lens provides a great view of the road without feeling overly distorted. The app control make it convenient to review and manage footage without constantly removing the memory card. I also like having the helmet mount and included accessories, which give you several options for mounting the camera depending on how you ride. The battery life provides solid recording time, and the IP64 water resistance gives me added confidence when riding in light rain or changing weather conditions. The camera also feels well-built and durable enough for regular motorcycle use. Overall, this is a very capable motorcycle camera for the money. Mirror/Height Problem: My old mirror didn’t go high enough for me, so I couldn’t see properly. I bought a bracket for the S12, and that fixed the height problem. 2. App Live View: The live-view feature in the app does not work for me. I really hope they improve this because 24/7 live viewing from anywhere would be a great feature. 3. Deleting Clips: After I deleted all my clips, the camera got stuck saying “Loading.” I had to unplug it and plug it back in to get it working again. This was super annoying. 4. Customer Service: Customer service needs improvement. When I had questions, I felt like I had to use ChatGPT or Google Ai to figure things out. The S12 is a little big for my Mazda3 04-09 but overall it’s not a bad dash cam. I also bought a larger SD card and a hardwire kit for 24/7 recording. Hopefully they release a new update soon. I think a lot of people would love reliable 24/7 live viewing from anywhere. I used an adapter plug to tap into the power going to the rearview mirror, so installation literally took me 5 minutes. The camera is solid and appears to be well built with much of it aluminum. It comes with a 128 gb memory card and can accept up to 512 gb, which provides a lot of storage. It also has wifi 6. With a special connector, it can provide 24 hour surveillance while parked. The app is easy to navigate to view recordings. It has gps to monitor speed, location , route and time, which will come in handy if you have an incident. It will record in a loop, recording over unimportant footage. If it detects contact it will save that particular footage.
