Initially, I reviewed the rug for 5 stars because of how vibrant and colorful it helped our open concept home become. The pop of orange, blues, and creams worked great in our space and were adaptive for every season. I even purchased a thicker rug pad for under it, because I knew our family (dog, infant, and toddler) would be spending a lot of time on the floor together. Unfortunately, after less than a year of having it, there are clear indications on which sides reside under our sectional versus in the open, which isn’t a very large part of the rug. However, it’s enough to identify wear marks and makes the rug look old and worn. Which is technically not a look I’m loving right now for the price I paid for it. The vibrancy of the dyed fabrics simply went away after what I’d consider little (like, actually little) activity on it. We’ve lasted without big spills and spoils, but I don’t want to know what it’d be like if we had any. The rug just doesn’t seem to bounce back. We hoped to really wash and air dry it, but it didn’t truly help bring the vibrancy back. Unfortunately, I don’t think we will be keeping this rug, and I’ll be in the market for another, more dependable and durable brand. Juneb*** I have several of these around my hardwood floored house! They are sooo necessary to keep rugs that aren’t anchored by furniture from sliding/moving as you walk across them! This most recent one is perfect, as are all of them! I purchased it for a 5x8 wool foyer rug. I was in between choosing the 1/4” pad vs the 1/5” pad (not a lot of height difference, but definitely noticeable under a rug!) I had an old 4x4 piece of the 1/4” height rug pad left over from a previous purchase and placed it under the foyer rug to make sure it was going to give me the proper cushion for the thick wool rug it was going to go under. After trying the 1/4” left over piece for several days and feeling for the proper height/cushioning i needed, I decided since the wool rug is rather thick and cushioned itself I went with the 1/5” pad and it’s exactly what I needed! I also have this same non-slip pad in a bedroom under a 5x8 rug that lies over carpeting… you just flip the pad, felt side down, onto the carpet with the rubber side ‘up’ lying under the bottom of the rug. It keeps the rug from moving on the carpet and from having to be repositioned every several days! I used to use the old weblike, window-pane looking, rubbery, yellow pads (which actually do work) but after realizing that over time they start to dry-rot and turn crumbly under rugs, and some of those pads actually leave a checkered looking imprint on the wood flooring, I stopped using them. Other reviewers have mentioned a smell? I have purchased several over the last 2 years and not one has had an oder to it. They do come folded up and may need a little bit of time to flatten out, I’ve found that the thinner the pad the less time needed. I have easily cut them to fit with basic, good scissors. I always cut them anywhere from 1-2” smaller than the rug so that it doesn’t cause the lip of the rug to be lifted up and lies flatter along the rugs edges! B0BKZVB5M2 US

I placed the rug 1/4 of the way under my small love seat and the legs on my sofa somehow pushed it enough that the stitching is coming undone in the area. I bought it exactly 3 weeks ago and I was doing a sort of fall spring clean and moved everything and that’s when I noticed the damage. I still love this rug because it’s cute and the colors are amazing! Maybe mine is a one off chance, but if you want it to last I would avoid putting it under the sofa. It’s great for people with pets & it seriously stays in place without a rug pad, no smell, creases come out easily, I don’t mind the thickness or thinness of it, and did I mention the great pattern and colors!
