The rug itself is really nice. I love the dark, vintage-inspired pattern—it has enough detail to be interesting without looking overly busy, and the slightly distressed coloring gives it a more expensive, lived-in appearance. The 2’ x 6’ size is perfect for my laundry room, but I could also see it working beautifully in a hallway, kitchen, entryway, or other narrow space. One of my favorite features is the non-skid backing. It actually stays put surprisingly well on my smooth tile floor without needing a separate rug pad. That’s especially important to me with animals running through the house. It’s also very low-profile, so there isn’t a thick edge to trip over or interfere with doors, and vacuuming can be done with ease with a regular floor piece or a carpet brush. It arrives folded, so mine initially had some pretty significant creases down the middle and across the rug.
