SunTouch ConnectPlus Programmable, Smart Thermostat for Electric Floor Heating with Home Automation 2 Don’t buy if using different brand heat mat eVANder_*** I hooked this thermostat to a quietwarmth heat mat and it doesn’t seem compatible. It came back with a voltage error and the only way to get it to go away is to say that my 120v mat was 240v. It is most definitely 120v so I am afraid to enter the incorrect information. I called customer service and they said they had never heard of the quiet warmth company at all. They told me that if the thermostat is saying that the mat is reading at 240v it is for sure 240v. I argued that the breaker was a 20amp single pull 120v 12AWG circuit (I installed myself) and the mat is brand new with 120v written on the box and the mat inspection sticker. I tried switching the load white and black wires between the load 1 and 2 terminals, but that doesn’t do anything different. So the only thing left to blame it on is the thermostat. I was really looking forward to using it, but I am worried sending the incorrect voltage signal from the thermostat to my mat will ruin the mat and I’ll have to tear up my floor. I’d increase my rating if there was some sort of work around and there was some acknowledgement that they are not the only brand of heated flooring technology that exists. A simple firmware update may be the solution if they actually cared about their customers. B07CKJQYDW US

I do not recommend Google Nest Cin*** Don’t buy this unless you like to program and reprogram and also enter your email address wouldn’t request it. I had three of these Google nests installed in my home. The installer put it on my phone as an app. I live in the desert and I do like to adjust the air one day. I was in my garage and I was trying to adjust the air on the app and Google asked to put my email address in. Off the top of my head I guess which one it was it was rejected. I guessed another one that was rejected and the third one it took it, but that wasn’t the real email. The second was the proper email which it did not take. Therefore, my app went away. I could not call anybody. I messaged people on Google what to do but now I have a defaulted email address that I cannot repair. So then I started using the actual wall unit and it’s just impossible. I might adjust the air with the green leaf to go on it 84 and then I walk into the room and it’s on 77. Actually, all three of my Google nests were somehow defaulting to 77°. That’s why I would have to adjust them on my app. I still don’t know what’s wrong. I can go onto the gold leaf and adjust my Casita. But I cannot do it in my bedroom. It keeps going on at night so unless you wanna go through this craziness do not buy the Google nest I do not recommend it especially if there’s nobody Handy around the app. Usability sucks and Google will not answer any calls. It has cost me so much money because of its "comfort" feature and the sensors. You can only have settings for home, away, and asleep. And the sensors drive all of it. I live in an area where the electricity bills go up astronomically from 4 PM until 9 PM. In the summertime, I want the air conditioning to essentially turn off (or at least turn down significantly) at 4 and then turn back on again at 9 PM. This is virtually impossible to do if anyone is home at 4 PM. So I'm stuck having to set a reminder for myself to do it all manually. I could have just kept my old not smart thermostat and saved myself a whole lot of money. Everything is controlled by Ecobee and not me. I'm really disappointed in this model. B0FFBC4MV4 US

Customer support is non existent. Hours of trying to reach them by phone and email and never got to anyone. I had to Google all my questions to finish setting up and learn all the features.
