Electric Baseboard V1 5 Awesome product G. *** Our family recently bought a cabin and I was looking for a solution to remotely monitor and control temperatures. This was my first time dealing with a smart thermostat or even a baseboard electric thermostat. I highly recommend downloading the Mysa app on the iPhone (which I have) or Android phone and registering an account, as the app's Install & Support menu gives step by step instructions on hooking up Mysa based on the wires you find behind your old thermostat. Everything was truly straightforward, I had the hardest time connecting 3 wires with one wire nut once and squeezing everything back into the electric box. After being done with installation, turned the power back on and voila, Mysa turns on and let me pair with the app and it works just perfectly. After Mysa was installed, I had to turn off power or just wifi in the cabin multiple times as I was installing other appliances. I was very pleased to see, that Mysa was able reconnect to the local wifi after every interruption. Also, I didn't have to make any changes to the router to enable remote connection to Mysa, such as port forwarding. Maybe every smart thermostat is like that, but I was a little concerned as my router has issues with that feature. This was one of the best products I bought on Amazon, highly recommended. IBS-TH2 PLUS Temperature and Humidity sensor sits on top of my chameleon cage and connects to the Inkbird IBS-M1 WiFi Gateway and allows it to work with the Inkbird Pro software on my devices anywhere I have internet. This is convenient to see the stats remotely and it keeps a log of it so I can correct issues if need be. It was confusing at first to think the Engbird was needed to connect the device but it automatically connected to the IBS-M1 already on my network. Inkbirdplus INK-WP03 Has multiple schedules controlling my fogger in one port and the spot lamp that is on the second port. I’m going to change out the fogger and put on my larger radiator heater to have some automation controls when the temp sensor shows cooler temps to trigger it to on. The last timer from a different brand burned out with the radiator heater because it couldn’t handle the amperage which had me worried using another device. I’m hoping this will be my ticket to solve this issue from the higher amperage and watts it can handle as stated in their hardware specs. Otherwise I’ll use a ceramic heater to use in the same automation scenario that Inkbird has in their software. The quality seems to be well made and rugged even though I’m using indoor and also under a cabinet it’s nice to have especially around any amount of water. Both devices INK-WP03 and the IBS-M1 work on the Inkbird Pro and InkbirdSmart apps. The INK-WP03 displays the device in Chinese inside the Pro version; The IBMS-M1 displays the menu and report in the InkbirdSmart as well in Chinese. These small issues should probably be updated in their newest update for Android to choose the preferred language. Having to use two different apps isn’t the most ideal but I’m sure their support in the next version will correct that like any other supported device. There are two different ways to connect the two devices to your network. They reference them as a fast flash and a slow flash. The slow flash worked whereas the fast flash didn’t. The slow flash method provides a SSID you can connect to the device and configure to your wireless network. The support to to hook up to a SSID with a hidden network name broadcast was helpful as well. I reached out with a couple questions to Inkbird and they were very responsive in getting back to me. I’m looking forward to using more of their devices in a couple other applications soon. I wish they had support for a smart thermostat so I can connect the smart scenario into that to really get my ideal conditions. I’d like to test the temp and humidity probe so I can update my review. I used the tuya smart app instead of the one given in the instructions since tuya offers Google integration. Both apps also only show the temperature in Celsius, for the control screen at least. But in Google Home it shows the temperature in Fahrenheit so that's fine. Though in Google the mode control doesn't work. I only seem to have a low and medium fan setting instead of low medium and high but that might be because of the way I installed it. But for me this is fine since all I needed was a way to remotely control the thermostat and it does that perfectly B09XXS48P8 US

Vanessa *** Before buying this thermostat, you need to understand one thing: the Wi-Fi hardware inside it is extremely outdated. It only supports basic 2.4 GHz b/g/n — the same Wi-Fi chips used in cheap IoT devices 10+ years ago. If you have a newer, high-end router (Wi-Fi 6 or Wi-Fi 7), this thermostat will likely give you nothing but problems. In my case, I spent HOURS troubleshooting with a Wi-Fi 7 router (ASUS ROG BE98 Pro). I tried everything: Split 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz Forced 20 MHz channel width Disabled Wi-Fi 6/7 features Disabled WPA3 Disabled OFDMA, TWT, beamforming, roaming, etc. Tried IoT-only SSIDs Tried every channel Tried WPA2-AES only Tried dedicated legacy mode Tried disabling advanced radio features Reset thermostat multiple times No matter what I did, the thermostat would: Appear for ½ second Connect but fail finalizing Show “no signal strength” Or simply refuse to connect at all Then I tested it with my phone’s hotspot — instant connection. That’s when it became obvious: the thermostat can only handle old Wi-Fi signaling, not the modern management frames broadcast by today’s routers. To confirm it wasn’t my network, I even resurrected an old Netgear AC1900 router from the garage, factory-reset it, and the thermostat connected immediately. That proves the issue isn’t the router or the user — it’s the outdated Wi-Fi chipset inside the thermostat. Bottom line: If you have a modern router, expect headaches. If your router is older, this thermostat will probably work. But manufacturers really need to upgrade the Wi-Fi radios in these devices. Customers should not have to downgrade or resurrect old routers just to get a thermostat online.
