Cannot speak yet to them holding up to the elements, not had them long enough, but I otherwise love these! They’re perfect for my back deck to hold multiple flowers and plants. I designated one for flowers, one for foliage plants - all annuals. They look beautiful! Easy to put together, doesn’t take too long. The most “difficult” is putting the last inside piece in, as it has the most bolts etc. Even when full, they are light enough to be moved - the wheels and handle definitely help, but even without using, can move when needed due to weather. 2 Don’t let the high reviews score fool you Nic*** I had been wanting a plastic-raised flower box for herbs for quit a while. Pulled the trigger and got this one because of the reviews and ratings. Unfortunately my review echoes some of the other more recent reviews by customers which I also urge you to read before finalizing this purchase. First as others have noted my water plug came chewed up. That coupled with sizing issues makes it impossible to plug the water hole as intended. It also doesn’t have a hole that goes through it so I’m not sure how turning it to let out water would work effectively. The “section” dividers were one of the biggest reasons I chose this product over others only to find out there are little plastic sticks and there is no where to insert the dividers anywhere. It’s about as effective as using a straw from McDonalds. This was also noted by another Amazon reviewer who noted he had to put his own holes in. When I purchase something I expect a product to come ready for assembly and not to have to manipulate it to work as intended. It might even void the warranty or return. Lastly the box unfilled doesn’t look square or level. It’s lopsided. Overall I’m extremely disappointed with this purchase. It’s cheaply made and for coming with bags marked “checked for quality assurance” it doesn’t look like quality assurance checked much after manufacture. On paper it’s a good value but don’t be fooled. Save yourself the hassle of having to lug this awkward thing back as a return. I sure wish I didn’t have to lug it back. B079SQRL46 US

3 Good product, could be improved upon Zik*** I've had good success with this product thus far. I have been growing carrots, turnips and bok choy in it and all of them are thriving. That said there are some improvements that can be made. The biggest problem with this product is the water gauge. The first problem is that it has an opening on the top with a 1/4" plastic grate. The opening is big enough to allow mulch, fertilizer and other additives in that then get stuck on the styrofoam float and effectively make the gauge useless as water will not make it rise after a certain point. The second problem with the water gauge is it's location, it's not centrally located nor is it on the edge. So it interferes with spacing when sowing seeds. I would prefer they move it to a corner and encourage everyone to ensure the product is leveled for it to be effective. I filled the unit with 1/4 peat moss and 3/4 organic garden soil and covered with a layer of wood chips. It seems to be holding well and has survived some tough storms that have damaged trees in my neighborhood. That said, I would not move it while full as I think the plastic would crack. You would fill it with a non-soil mix to decrease the weight but then you'd have to water more frequently. B079SQRL46 US

The designers put in a couple of cross beams in an attempt to keep them straight, doesn’t really work. The water gage is a gimmick. While a great concept the designers put it in the middle of the right side if the planter, this limits the available planting space. The included tray for starting seeds is another gimmick. Way too thick so you can’t bend the tray enough to eject the seedlings. Tried using a knife not really helpful so about 50% of my seedlings were destroyed when removed. Threw it away. 3 Smaller than expected Brent Ro*** Perhaps it was me, but the description for this item seemed a bit deceptive. That being said, I was able to find a use for this smaller planter. The construction is a bit "rough" (see pics) with some holes not being fully cut. However, I was able to get it built and filled with a mixture of flowers and sweet potatoes. It does not seem the items are growing that well compared even to others still in their seedling containers but we will find out. I do like the larger planter this came with but find this smaller one kinda useless. The seed tray seems to be of nice construction but really has no purpose and would just hog up space needed for planting. Finally, the sides seem a bit twisted or warped after less than a month in semi shade, mostly temperate northern Missouri spring weather but we will see how it holds up. 5 Nice looking planter Dad the *** I like this planter, but I think it is better suited for shallower rooted plants, like basil, cilantro, lettuce, or regular herbs. You can see this planter next to a fabric pot (this was near the end of the growing season. I actually harvested more bell peppers off of the bell pepper plant in the fabric pot than with the planter. My basil and lettuce (earlier in the season) did really well. Cilantro was just okay, but I rarely have a good cilantro crop. The basil was planted from seed and you can see it just starting to grow next the lettuce back in the spring. B084YMX7N2 US

4 Good Quality Item and Easy to Assemble Red7*** This product appeared to be a decent raised garden. It is best to have 2-3 people to assemble this raised garden. The wood appeared untreated, which is good if you are wanting to grow any fruits or vegetables. Just be sure to move the garden out of bad weather so that it can last longer. The garden has lockable wheels on one side, which makes it convenient to move around. This raised garden is also great because not only does it keep the garden above ground and away from animals, it is mobile and allows the user to not have to bend down while working with it. I do not recall if the instructions stated the gross allowable weight for the garden, but I would not grow watermelons in it. The wooden supports that are beneath where the tarp holds the dirt are fairly sturdy. However, over time if the wood is not treated or kept out of bad weather, I could see issues in the future. There is a drainage hole at the base of the garden but like another reviewer had apparently done, one might consider running a PVC pipe through the hole and down through and in between the wooden shelf panels. This way the water does not rot the wooden base, and shelf down below, over time. I know that the garden should be able to be left out in different types of temperatures/weather, however, this would be best if the wood has been treated. If you're planning on growing and consuming the food, or giving the food to others for consumption, I would research about what treatments to the wood are safe for that. If you are planning on just growing plants, flowers, etc., it might be beneficial to treat the wood so that it can withstand the different climates. The only cons for this product that I observed, and experienced, were the following: 1. The wood did not appear to be professionally cut. There would be those little pieces sticking off from the sides, so I suggest wearing some sort of gloves to avoid splinters. I was unable to wear gloves only because I needed to be able to grip the wood and have a better hold of what I was doing while building the garden. 2. The section where you connect the base to the legs is where the air turned blue for me. I do not recall what the circular item is called but you have to use 4 of them. Then you have to run a screw through the legs in the wood, where it goes into the circular metal piece. These 4 metal pieces had minds of their own and would move as I ran the screw into them, causing them to turn and then I'd have to start again. It was very tedious and the way it was designed does not allow you to grip or hold the metal pieces in place so that the screw can go directly where it needs to be. So all I can say is have fun with that part x4. The best way I was able to make this part easier was to have someone hold the garden up where it was Level (as if it were standing up on its own. Then this released pressure a bit. Also make sure to not tighten one of the 4 legs too much because if one leg is too tight with the screw and metal piece, it will be near impossible to get the other side to fit correctly. Of course, it was only after I had yelled and cursed the makers of the product, that I finally figured out how to resolve the issue. Other than those two cons, everything else appeared fine with this raised garden. Once you have it built, you will be pleased with the end result. Just be mindful of how much weight you place in it. Change out the tarps every so often, after use, so that they don't deteriorate to the point where dirt and water are reaching the wooden base and then begin to rot the wood. I read the reviews before buying this product and it appeared to have mixed reviews. There are some who appeared to have a rough time with it but liked it. There were others who have bought several and appear to really like it. Then I believe there were a couple who did not like it. I will update this review with photographs later, and after some gardening has been done with it. I feel it is worth the purchase but if you are planning on purchasing 2 or more, I would just get 1 to begin. See if it works out and then make the decision to acquire more. There are lot of screws to put this together the shocking thing is you only literally only need a flat nose screwdriver and maybe a pair of 98 cent pliers to assemble. they come with screws and WING NUTS instead of regular nuts where you need a wrench set I recommend that unless you are very nimble working on the ground you should assemble on a flat work surface.
