My only complaint during assembly is that the hex socket recesses in the bolt heads are very shallow. They seem to be only around 2 mm deep, so the Allen key kept slipping or falling out while I was tightening everything. Deeper hex sockets would have made assembly a lot easier. The light itself is BRIGHT. I really like how much light it puts out, and it is strong enough that some of my nearby plants can benefit from it as well. I also like that the stand keeps the pot elevated off the floor, which gives the plant a better viewing angle and makes the whole setup look a little more intentional. The controller has the typical options you would expect from a grow light, including brightness adjustment and timer settings for how long you want the light to stay on each day. There is also a watering reminder feature, but I think the implementation could be better. As far as I can tell, the reminder is just a flashing blue LED on the controller itself. If the controller is hidden behind a couch, plant, or piece of furniture, there is a good chance you will never notice it. I think briefly flashing the actual grow light periodically would have been a much more obvious and useful reminder. Overall, I really like this setup. The grow light is impressively bright, the stand displays the plant nicely, and the controls give you plenty of adjustment. The parts were well and tight packaged in a box that also included everything you need to assemble them, including the screws and the tools. The instructions in the little manual are depicted clearly, you just need to watch out, when assembling similar parts, which way they have to be facing. I found it helpful before assembling making sure they're facing right way by comparing the screw holes and the directions they're facing in the pictures. All the parts were labelled correctly and I also didn't have issues screwing the screws is. Everything fit perfectly and there were also some extra screws included, which I think is great in case you loose one. I assembled these by myself while I was watching a movie and I was finished probably in 40 Minutes, but like I said I was watching something on the side and wasn't rushing. So probably someone is able to do it in half the time or less. The wood parts have a consistent, but still natural looking pattern. I didn't have any parts that were damaged or flaking. The metal is sturdy, not too thin in my opinion. I feel like it has nice balance between rustic, yet modern look. After assembling I had some heavy pantry items stocked on top of the nightstands for a couple of days so I can tell you - they're not flimsy. I had items stocked on top, cats jumping on them they didn't rattle, at all. I also like that they have adjustable legs in case you have uneven floors. I like that these nightstands have different layers, and also a drawer. The drawer itself is made out of thick fabric and the bottom of it is reinforced with a thicker fabric sheet you insert when assembling it. Since the drawer is surrounded by either metal on the side or covered with the wood shelf piece, I don't mind it not being made out of wood. I feel like for it's size and purpose it's sturdy enough. It'll definitely hold a couple of books or some other night stand items with no issues. I think for this price range it's fully okay. We'll be using them as guest room nightstands and in the future possibly as a plant stand. As I mentioned earlier these nightstands are not flimsy. They feel nice and heavy duty, and very durable. They have no problem supporting my larger, heavier pots and plants. The wheels roll smoothly (at least on my concrete patio), and they've been really convenient for moving my plants around when needed. I love that I can use my toes to lock and unlock the wheels, unlike other caddies that I own. The WPC (wood plastic composite) is going to hold up to moisture and UV from the weather better than both plastic and wood alone. I do plan to bring them inside during the Minnesota winters because the plastic wheels and hardware may not hold up to the harsh cold. It was fairly easy to put together overall, but I do want to warn anyone assembling it to pay close attention to the recessed parts on the shelves. The directions don't point them out, and you need to make sure each shelf is facing the right direction before you tighten everything down. I caught it early enough, but it would have been easy to get a shelf flipped and have to backtrack. Just double-check as you go. Once assembled, the stand feels very stable. The metal frame is solid and the anti-slip pads keep it from wobbling or scratching the floor. It's the perfect size for the small plants we have, mostly 4 to 6 inch pots, and the staggered four tiers give each plant enough room without crowding. It fits nicely in a corner and the rustic brown finish with the black frame looks great. The grow lights are a nice touch. I used the included adhesive to attach the light heads and skipped the screws entirely. The screws were very tiny and didn't seem necessary given how light the lights are. The adhesive has held up fine so far. For a compact, stylish plant shelf with built-in lighting, this is a solid value. M*** My set of 5 black metal flower pot stands were well packed in lots of bubble wrap to protect the finish in transit. The description does not say what type of metal is used in construction. The metal is painted black to make the stands rust resistant; however, only time will tell if the paint is the rust resistant variety. Assembly was easy. The longest legs go with the largest top, the next longest go with the next size, and so on down to the smallest. The legs easily screw into the bolts on the tops, then you slip a little plastic cap over the unfinished bottom of each leg. It took me about ten minutes to assemble them all and I didn't need any tools. If you don't examine these too closely they look like high quality iron stands, but a closer look shows some concerns. The decorative tops are made with thin metal wire-like material that may not be up to the task of holding a heavy potted plant. I am afraid the top will eventually have metal fatigue and dump the plant. I am also worried about the stability of the stands. They only have three legs. A fourth leg would have made the stand more stable and less likely to tip over if the weight of the potted plant is not balanced correctly. The stands are lightweight and will definitely get tossed around in storms with wind if not weighted down, but then will the top handle the weight? This set is priced at only twenty dollars which is certainly budget friendly, but if you plan to put heavy pots on them or place them outdoors you might be better off looking for something different.
