I've used the 6-inch planter for more than a year and recently purchased the 4.5-inch version for a new plant. The older plant is thriving in the 6-inch planter compared to the previous one, which didn't drain as well. The drainage holes allow the soil to fully drain after watering, and the planter fits perfectly in the saucer. I prefer these to the ceramic planters because they're much lighter. I have a multi-tiered plant stand that can't support too much weight (since it's rather cheap), so these plastic planters are safer than ceramic ones. Half of the pieces aren’t labeled and there are no detailed instructions really. This being said, the shelf was pretty easy to figure out. Put the poles together and put the wheels on, put the first height adjustment clip in place and then slide a shelf on repeat until finished. The lights clipped to the wires. The clips go on top of the wires and then you can clip the light on underneath. There were zip ties included to keep the cords in place, but I found it actually looked better if you just ran the cord through the wired shelf. Kind of sew it in place before attaching it to the next tier. This is very sturdy.This is very sturdy and overall I’m quite pleased.
