Thought I made a rookie mistake at the end but then found it under the flowers still clipped to the pot. 😅 Pinch the ends of the chain onto the hooks to be sure they won’t come off. if you don’t want clumps of color and rather a mix throughout, here are some suggestions: Others said to move flower buds from one batch to the other. I found it easier to do it this way. 1) remove the chains completely 2) Although you don’t have to, I glued the styrofoam to the shell and the greenery to the styrofoam to keep in place(hot glue gun or krazy glue) both work. 3) Take each branch and pull them apart straight out(across like a fan). See the pics. Start to insert them evenly balanced on each side beginning at points 12-3-6-9 and you can easily go around & fill if from there. It matures nicely and the colors are not clumped together. My set is 6 colors Mix (Lt pink included). 4) Finally, Add the chains on AFTER arranging rather than struggling to force them through once all the flowers are in place. Hope it helps. If you’re hanging them up high don’t worry about filling in the top center too much lol. Bulk out & thicken the sides with leaving only a few sprinkled on top. It took me about 20 mins each planter. They are realistic looking w/the dark “veins”. Unless you are on top of them, you really can’t tell. The only drawback for me is the short chain. I’d prefer them a bit longer to see more of the flowers. Can’t speak on longevity, fading, rusting. I plan on seeing how they fair throughout the summer & updating then. I have used this kit on a few vehicles with varying levels of success. The kit works great on what it's intended for, and that is steel body panels. It doesn't do that great on aluminum but that is because aluminum does not behave like steel and it's more difficult to work than steel. That said, this kit has most everything a DIYer could need. When this happens, the misplaced glue interferes with the trigger mechanism so that you can only apply a tiny amount of glue with each pull of the trigger - You have to pull to pull the trigger almost all the way before the glue comes out the nozzle like it is supposed to. Very. annoying and inefficient. At first, it works fine, but then the seeping glue builds up in the side channel where the new glue stick goes. Takes a while to clean it out with an awl and tweezers - then it works well for about 1/2 stick of glue. Really, one of the worst products I have used lately. B07PQPG5YQ US
