These brooches are perfect. They are lightweight enough to not weigh down the bouts and have different but complementary designs. The clasps are tiny by necessity - they will be easy enough to pin to the corsage fabric but I will likely use a hot glue gun to affix them to the bouts. The "diamond" pins are great, too, and will compliment the brooches on the bouts. I hadn't considered this ahead of time and the bout pins I have are pearl, so the bouts will look so much more put-together with these. There are so many pipe cleaners and so many colors included that I’ve had plenty of options to get creative. I love being able to mix and match the colors and try different flower shapes instead of having every flower look exactly the same. Once you start making them, it’s easy to get carried away because you keep thinking of another color combination or another flower you want to try. The flowers actually turn out really pretty, too. I was impressed with how nice they look when they’re finished, especially considering they’re made from simple chenille stems. I’ve been creating little arrangements and experimenting with different designs, and it has been such a fun way to spend some free time. I also really appreciate that the kit includes the hot glue gun and instructions. Having everything together makes it much easier to get started instead of having to search around for supplies. The instructions are helpful when you’re trying to figure out how to make the different flowers, but there’s also plenty of room to get creative and do things your own way. The 13 different colors are probably one of my favorite parts because they give you so much to work with. I’ve already made several flowers and still have plenty of supplies left to make more. It would also be a really fun project to do with kids, but honestly, adults can have just as much fun with it! I’m really glad I got this for myself. I’ve been having a blast making beautiful flowers, experimenting with different colors, and just enjoying a creative hobby. It’s fun, relaxing, and gives you something pretty to show for your time. After playing with it a bit, the three star pieces can snap together, but it took a little time. After together, the lighting strip was meant to stick to the white middle layer. At first it looked fine and produced a very bright star. The next morning part of the lights had come loose so I put them back in place. When I came home at the end of the day, all the lights had jumped ship. I imagine using a glue gun or some super glue could secure them but I’m more likely to use the gold star alone and find a different use for the very bright light strip (lights not shown, but very bright - probably too bright for a traditional Christmas tree). Everything from leather binding, special wood glue, soldering wire, epoxy, you name it. This corrals them all and gives me much easier access with the clear drawers and seeing everything. This product came in the box it was packaged in, but the top was open as the tape didn't hold (pic 1). I'm glad the manufacturers had the foresight to separately wrap all the items and hide the small things in the drawers. Laid out, all components were present so nothing was lost (pic 2). Putting this together was a snap, literally. The pieces just go right in where they need to with little effort. I like the white and the clean lines of the holders. Especially how the grey one ties in with the smoked out semi-opaque drawers (pic 3). This unit is indispensable for me as I do a ton of fixing things rather than tossing. The only thing this doesn't hold is my glue gun. After being on a creative streak the past few weeks, yesterday went much faster with the visible locations, faster access, and all types within reach. Before, they were all in a tackle box in case of leaks and I hate dusting things. Mama_Sau*** My boys were so happy to get triple bunk beds but my son who wanted top bunk was upset realizing the cats (we adopted 3 sibling kittens who are now a year old and huge) couldn’t come visit him in bed. So, to appease the boys, I found this narrow cat tree and reviews were so-so. Acceptable enough that we’d try it. Luckily it’s lined up perfectly for the stud, otherwise, I think this thing would have ripped a hole and the cats cause enough damage to my walls as it is! So boys are happy, cats adapted and it was one more place to scratch and prayed it would stop the wall scratching (it didn’t, sigh) but cats love it and boys too. A day or two and we realized one support in a stud WAS NOT enough. We got an L shape and made another which improved the stability MASSIVELY! One of the 3 cats is my power kicker. He’s the one in the photos as he’s on this the most and I most certainly know he’s why it’s all tore up already because he has used this as it was intended. Barely 3 weeks since I put it up and it’s already needing some repair. I don’t understand why the lower poles were all sisal rope but this one piece had to have the carpet and there wasn’t a choice to not have it. The other poles are holding up but this definitely isn’t. I really feel If it were a solid sisal pole, it’d been fine. Also, if they’d market it with two supports, it would really boost my ratings but it gets docked based on stock use without modifications and advertisement of use. Technically it’s still in the return period but my kids would get PISSED if I pulled this so I gotta go buy a hot glue gun, sisal rope and a staple gun I think. I don’t know. I’m not crafty like that. I’ll likely burn myself but unless the manufacturer has another sisal pole they’d give me to replace that one, it’s what I gotta do.
