They stick well, but require a bit of finesse (and reading the directions) to get them on smoothly. I completely messed up the first one I tried to put on resulting in a tacky, wrinkled mess. But once I got the hang of it, these adhesive sheets go on smooth and are barely noticeable. The cats definitely don't like them and have sought more appropriate places to scratch. Here's why I only gave four out of five stars: you have to put it on smooth furniture. If your kitty has already started to shred the arm of your sofa, these sheets won't stick very well. Also, it's fine on fabric furniture like twill, denim, or a polyester blend. But you don't want to put it on anything wood, leather, antique, or made with a delicate fabric as the adhesive might cause damage. For my purposes, it got the job done. I also like the light wood and light tan color of the bed, though my black-haired cat’s shedding is more noticeable in comparison to our orange boy. The overall size is ideal, both of my cats are full grown, one at about 14lbs, the other at about 11lbs, neither of them has any issue sitting or sleeping on the bed, having plenty of room to lie. The only thing I would note is that my cats do not sprawl out on it, so this is based more on their “loaf” form, or a relaxed position, rather than a full-out stretch. What I did not liked/appreciate is that the directions were extremely confusing, they are picture-based with little wording, which is generally fine except that the parts look too similar and were not labelled individually. What should have taken two minutes to put together took nearly fifteen because I had to sort the parts properly and continuously flip/compare them to one another. Once put together, it initially had a slight wobble to it. I tightened the screws a bit more, and the issue was resolved. Neutrals: the wood materials are a softer wood and can easily be dented/scratched; the support… rods? Feel sturdy for the intended use, and the scratcher material feels tightly woven and suitable for aggressive scratchers. Though my cats never seem intrigued or understanding of the fact that they can scratch materials such as these. This scratcher has more of an upholstered couch type of material than the thick/scratchy post on their cat trees. Essentially, this has become a nice lounge spot below the bedroom window for them to rest, rather than an enrichment activity. Overall, the quality was acceptable for the product, and the materials are strong enough to hold a full-sized adult cat. Though I personally would be more hesitant to use this product with cats above 15lbs, I feel the product would be less desirable, as I believe the materials would not be desirable for long-term use with larger cats. So far, we like the bed, but I likely would not order this again or recommend it at $40. Definitely noticing a downward trend in production quality. This one has posts near the top that just aren't very sturdy and have already started bending more than I'd like. Cat tree manufacturers are making the posts thinner and thinner, that's why. That's why you see such enormous "spacious" cat trees for so cheap now. Also the hanging basket (there are 2 and I'm referring to the one that is only attached to on) bends significantly under my cat's 14lb weight and I'm pretty sure that metal is gonna bend more permanently soon. The other one that's attached to 2 posts is faring better. Also the whole design of it is actually kind of awkward for my cats. They have trouble deciding how to reach the top or get down, and end up jumping really high distances instead of step-wise, like cat trees are meant to provide. It's because this tree is more tall than it is wide. It also wobbles significantly when they're near the top for that reason. They are chubby girls and they haven't knocked it over. This is true even though we weren't able to secure it with the extra wall tether. I wish the wall tether had been a little longer. Our girls are more on the plus size and the hammocks support them. They also fit in the square house part. The directions are all pictures not written. One piece was lettered wrong in the instructions, but we figured it out quickly enough. The only confusing part of putting it together was assembling the level with the square house. There's a pre-drilled hole for the rope toy that hangs in the level below and the diagram makes it look like that's the hole for the house, but the house actually fits into a hole far to one side. We like the fabric on it, which is very soft like velour. Our old tree was covered in more of a carpet type fabric. The very top level is cushioned besides, so it's a very comfy napping spot. Overall I would absolutely recommend this cat tree and I would buy it again. B09HXCSVQX US
