It was extremely easy to use but it was difficult to determine, with ease, if the tines were directly placed above the weed as the shaft and footpad block a clear view. The first time I used the plunger to release the recently pulled weed, the red knob fell off. Once I found it again, I was able to screw it back into place without issue. I proceeded to continue pulling weeds, noticing that the tines are not actually long enough to fully aid in removing some weeds that have longer roots, so I did have to dig down to get what was left behind. After I'd removed about 10-12 weeds, one of the tines broke completely off at the base of the shaft! Replace with a good, name brand oil (I use Rotella T4 15W-40) immediately, again at 250km and then after break in (500km) switch to a good, name brand synthetic (Rotella T6 is a good choice.) Also, don't forget to send them your VIN when your bike arrives so you can get your paperwork quickly to register/insure. Lastly, be warned the carburetor and air box/filter on the Magician (in comparison to the Hawk 250) are a real hassle to get to for cleaning/maintenance-look it up on YouTube. The photo's are of (1) arrival in shipping crate (w/o cardboard box cover), (2) assembled (took about 3-4 hours), & (3) my wife on it for the first time (she is 5'6"). Please note-it will not start if the kickstand is down, there is a kill (plunger) switch I guess for safety?? I deleted it.
