Port selection is sensible for a compact hub, though I would have liked one more USB‑C and one more USB‑A port. That’s not a dealbreaker, but it would have made it easier to leave more peripherals permanently connected. My primary machine is a gaming laptop, not for games but for running local AI models on the GPU. It ships with a 280‑watt power brick, but it also supports USB‑C Power Delivery. The hub’s 100‑watt PD is enough for normal work and even moderate GPU use. As long as I’m not hammering the GPU continuously, the laptop runs comfortably on USB‑C power. This device works as expected and provides ample additional ports to my MacBook Pro that do not exist normally. The USB ports work great for connecting my flash drive and external drives and a scanner. The ethernet port also works great and it definitely comes in handy when I am out in the field visiting clients and need to connect to their network. I have 3 of these devices, main office, remote home office and one for my briefcase. Plug the single output cable into the USB C on the HP and everything works. The number and diversity of ports is extremely handy so I don't have to scrounge for cables or adapters. The metal casing is very robust - built like a rock, just smarter. I offered no opinion on 'Tech Support' since I just plugged it in and everything worked immediately - no tech support needed. Overall, a great product at a reasonable price. I highly recommend it. USB C Hub, TOTU 13-in-1 Type C Hub with Ethernet, 4K USB C to 2 HDMI, VGA, 2 USB 3.0, 2 USB 2.0, ... 5 Works really well SC*** The Totu 12-in-1 USB-C Hub is a well-designed hub, lightweight and with a small footprint. I needed a hub with a lot of features, since my brand new 14" Windows laptop is a slim design with few ports. I use a VGA port (monitor), both USB 2 and USB 3 devices, ethernet connection, external speakers as well as an occasional SD card. This Totu hub can take care of all that. So I'm happy. It does get slightly warm, but I believe that happens with most hubs. The only thing I would want changed (no stars deducted for that because it may be a personal preference) is the USB-C cable built into the hub (for attaching to your laptop) is extremely short (5 1/2 inches). So the hub always has to be right next to your laptop, which means all the connected wires and devices are super close to the laptop you are working on. This is an easy fix, and the manufacturer should consider a 12 inch length. Overall, definitely worth the price. B07RV1ZCWJ US
