Setting the clock did require me to read the manual, but it was explained adequately. I don't think the accuracy on this would meet the requirements of a doctor's office, but it is good enough for a simple home unit. I have had some issues where it errors out when inflating and there's no clear reason. I suspect there may be a small air leak where the tube connects to the meter. Holding the connection tight allowed me to get a reading that tracked what I would expect to see from a BP monitor in a Dr.'s office. The cuff is quite large and fits my big arm acceptably well. The design is also well thought out and easy to secure one-handed. Battery life seems to be adequate. It included 4x AAA off-brand alkaline batteries and I have been able to get at least half a dozen days of readings. There's also a USB-C power port, but be cautious as you will need to make sure whatever you power it with can give 5 volts at at least 1 amp. It does not support rechargeable batteries.
