The stethoscope hurt to put them on because the earpieces are hard plastic. The heart-beat sound is lame and you have to really listen for it to hear it. He did not understand that the sound is supposed to be a heart-beat. The blood pressure strap is so short you can barely wrap it around his arm. No chance at wrapping it around an adult's arm which is kind of the point I would think - to have the child play doctor and parent play patient. So unless you're checking his blood pressure (no fun for him) you have to hold with your hand on your own arm. Plus the pump goes out after the first few uses. It will not re-inflate so, you end up playing pretend with a broken pump that can't wrap around anyone's arm. When I first got them, I would run them off 4 AA batteries because it was more convenient. But I was going through batteries so often, I decided it was more economical to switch to AC. Unfortunately, one of the cords got damaged so I was sharing the cord between monitors. When I saw this Power Adapter, I decided it was time to get a 2nd cord. This Power Adapter is 6 volts, white with a 3” x 1.5” rectangular plug which connects directly into a wall outlet or power strip. The cord is a little over 6 ft, thick and flexible. It travels well and can be rolled up and tossed in a bag without worrying about kinks or getting tangled. Contrastly, the original OEM adapter is only 5 ft long with a thin cord that easily gets knotted up and bent. The connector end has a DC (direct current) jack, which is barrel shaped and “snaps” into the Omron device. The jack fit securely into both of my devices without any “wiggle or play” and was able to provide power immediately for all functions. If you have an Omron device and need a power cord this will Adapter will do the job. FYI, I also have a really old ReliOn BP monitor made by Omron about 20 years ago. 5 Might Be a Keeper David*** I just received this watch today. I had a smart watch for 3 years, and the battery died. This watch is different from the one I had before. I have some adjustments to make it work the way I need for me. I did take my blood pressure, and the systolic was high by 5 and the diastolic by 10 when compared to my actual blood pressure monitor. When I raise my wrist, the watch stays on for maybe 5 seconds. I haven't found how to correct that. The face I chose shows the weather, and some other items, but the clock is stuck on 8:00. I tried it last night and it works, but the hoses are difficult to pull off. The extra large cuff ended up being too large for me and the large cuff gives me a more accurate reading.
