The padding does put very minimal pressure on your eyes (what I was hoping for) and I’ve found it helps me relax and drift off to sleep faster, sort of like a weighted blanket would. Byourbed Coma Inducer Oversized King Comforter Set - Touchy Feely - Black 5 Perfection Elizabeth*** Paired this bad boy with the NY Loft polar fleece sheet set. Literally the comfiest my bed has ever been. It is now a nest that I never want to leave. I live as far south as you can get in the US. 100% humidity year round. These are obviously not summer sheets. When it does get cold, it’s a damp cold, not a dry one. It gets through your clothes no matter how much you layer on. I find this comforter extremely warm but also breathable. I don’t wake up covered in sweat with these but they also warm up my cold feet very quickly (I hate wearing socks at night so this is a huge win for me). My house is usually freezing at night. My partner and I love using lots of blankets so we don’t usually put the heater very high at night. My mattress has a cooling gel. I am also cold natured and like to bundle up at night. My sister, who gets hot VERY easily, started sweating just looking at this thing. I hate being hot or sweaty at night and don’t find this too warm at all but it’s all relative to your tolerance. It’s also nice and weighty. Not exactly a weighted blanket but it definitely comforts me at night. I love these sheets and will be sad when it’s too hot outside to use them.
