Full Flow Garden Hose Shut Off Valve 2 Good sellers, inferior version compared to the older model. Overki*** Seller is good, valve is a joke compared to the last Gilmour "full flow" valves I bought on Amazon. these are like they miniaturized the valves compared to the previous valves (see pics). The main reason I buy these is to get full flow throughput. The new ones have approximately .385" opening, wheres the old style was .657". Cross section area is squared, not a diameter difference, so it is a BIG reduction in flow. It's Gilmour's fault, not the seller, that they claim Full Flow, when it isn't. One issue I had is the rubber gripper around the pulldown portion of the connector. The rubber has a tendency to slip off since it's staying put through friction only. Only one of many had this issue, so now I watch the others and connect things while making sure they stay put. For things like the dishwasher, garden hose and washing machine it's not a huge deal, but in the shower, hard water is absolutely a pain in the butt. This filter system shower head has made a huge difference in my hair and skin, and as an added bonus, the shower is about a million times easier to clean as there is not hard water buildup on the tile. My only beef is that the head/filter apparatus is bulky. If you have a small shower this will protrude out from the faucet on the wall by about a foot, depending on where you tilt the shower head attachment to. Well, the naysayers were correct. It doesn't matter how powerful your compressor, because this sprayer is designed with a non-threaded open pipe end that CANNOT be fitted with a spray nozzle of any kind. Without a nozzle attachment option, there is NO pressure buildup, making this sprayer less effective than a garden hose with any type of adjustable nozzle. If you've ever used a real pressure washer, you know there are a variety of end attachments for adjusting water pressure, and pattern, as well as syphon containers for adding chemicals to your spray. This device, although well built, does NOT offer those options. Nor can it be retrofitted. You also know NOT to point a real sprayer at anything fragile (people, pets, etc). Well, this sprayer, with it's wide open end pipe, has no way to focus the water flow. So its not a dangerous tool, but its also NOT effective for cleaning. Maybe its an OSHA requirement. And one more important warning about washing your vehicles. Don't use this tool! When I was trying out the sprayer, I decided to hose down my favorite truck just with water to get some bugs off the windshield and grill. My water supply was coming from my de-mineralizer, as it always does, because I've mastered a touch free, water-spot free car wash technique over the years. Then I used an electric blower to push off the water droplets, like I always do. And that's when I realized my mistake... What looked like water spots (which I never get!) was actually oil spots. Yes, I forgot that lubricated compressors throw off a bit of oil into the air flow. You don't want that in your wash water. Now you may be OK with a small maintenance free pancake compressor, but I really don't recommend this tool for anything.
