The straps don't seem all that strong either and they're tough to get super tight. Again I'm not sure how they'll do in a windy situation. I'll most likely return them and get some heavier dog leash tie outs like we use for our rv awning and some heavy-duty motorcycle tie-down straps instead just for piece of mind.
