If you have a harness with two thick rings to hook onto, it can technically fit them, but I just can't trust the combination of tight fit and tiny latch for my dog. I could not tell from any of the descriptions how big the clip was. I am going to include a video hoping to make that a little clearer. The locking mechanism locks by default when you press down on the button. Which is fine for some people. I like to give my dogs freedom of length and just guve a gentle pull when they have gone too far or are in an area they shouldn't be. I also like to stop them and have the leash retract a little as I step forward and temporarily lock again. This way the dog is kept in one place as I move closer and the leash adjusts to the difference. Having to undo the lock, even if it is with a simple movement of the thumb, each and every time, gets to be hard on my thumb and the lock itself. Prior leashes I have owned with this style of default lock, have had the locking mechanism break down way too quickly as a result of my style of use. I was willing to look past that for this leash, if the hook was bigger, but it isn't. So, I am leaving a 5 star review, but I am returning the leash due to no fault of the leashes quality. It's nice because I can easily see my dogs #2 because yes, this leash is that bright. At 5ft. it's long enough for us, some people may prefer a 6ft leash which is what I typically use. It wasn't much to give up in length compared to what we got on visibility. The leash is very well made, seems durable and like it will last a long time. It's currently been used most nights for several weeks and the battery probably lasts a good 6hrs before needing recharging. I always use it on the color changing setting which I imagine takes more power than a solid color. The material is strong and reflective on it's own, without turning the lights on at all. The handle is lightly padded and the leash has no stretch. The first night I took this leash on a test run, I was stopped by 3 people, 2 in a car and one on a scooter. Scooter agreed the visibility was way better than the headlamp on his helmet, he was considering just looping a leash across and around him so he's seen. The 2 cars that stopped (in a fairly lit area nothing scary lol) both mentioned they could see me from a block or two away and caused them to immediately slow down. Bingo, that's what I was hoping for. I don't want to get his by cars and if I'm out there in the dark with my dogs, it's up to me to make sure people see us. I love this leash, it has made our nightly adventures way more random and fun! I find that keeping ratchet straps neatly coiled around the ratchet levers and stacked in a shoe box or crate is much more efficient and easy to store. It keeps the straps clean, separated, and easy to select by color (length) when needed. If you are dealing with a limited set of smaller bungees, stretch cords, or short ratchet straps, this wall accessory might work for a specific scenario (it’s perfect for dog leashes) …but if you ever need to bring the straps with you or pick out certain ones, this is not really the best solution. It was the chain that really caught me off guard. I was expecting that cheap junk that is used to hang lamps in your living room. I wasn't expecting a quality mid weight chain with welded links. I was also pleasantly surprised by the spring tension. Obviously, the people who designed these own rambunctious large dogs because they go the spring tension down correctly. This rig is exactly what you need when walking a large excitable dog that loves to pull and pull. This is so much more humane than a chain choker. The cord flows smoothly and the lock is solid. My dog is a hunter and sniffer so having the 26 foot length allows me to let him roam to do his thing. The leash is equipped with an accessory mount but I don't have any of the accessories yet. A bit more expensive than some of the other brands I considered but the only 26-foot model I've found for a small dog. And if it lasts half as long as my old one, it is money well spent.
