However, everything fits together pretty well and it's pretty straightforward for the most part. Once it's assembled I was really pretty happy with this. It's not nearly as high as most drafting chairs I've used in the past, which is nice. The folding back feature is really kind of cool and makes it more mobile and easier to store. It looks fantastic in my office and I use it in my shipping area where I'm mostly standing, just to grab a quick seat every once in a while. Honestly it's not the most comfortable chair in the world, but I don't think any drafting chairs are. However it's a fairly sturdy and well assembled drafting style chair.
