I've been practicing yoga for over 20 years and wanted to switch from the plastic/rubber mats I've had for so long to a cork mat. I have cork blocks already so I knew that a cork mat would be ideal for me. I sweat, a lot- even without being in a hot room - I have Hyperhidrosis - so I my hands and feet sweat so much that I have to wear grippy socks and put down a extra towel for my hands to grip on to or else I will slip. Now I no longer need to wear grippy socks for hot yoga or worry about my hands slipping. I has great grip and cushion, not spongy . Knowing that cork is naturally antibacterial I really wanted to make the switch. I searched for about 3 -4 weeks reading reviews, material descriptions, comparing prices and sizes with other sellers until I found this one. It fit all my requirements and it was less expensive than some of the others - without sacrificing quality. The only draw back is the rubber smell - that has gone away but now completely - I put it outside for a couple hours so it could air out. I sprayed it down with some Dawn Power wash on the back side, rinsed it and let it dry out. At this point i can only smell it when I'm actually trying to smell for it. That was an appealing notion to allow a slow cooker top to be safely unified with its bottom while stored in a cabinet; it should be able to prevent it from falling when removed from the cabinet. I have two slow cookers: one from decades ago with a round top, and a larger, recent one that’s a big oval. Neither lid can be snapped for with the 21.3” strap. The snap button neither snaps nor or stays closed, defeating the strap’s stated purpose. I figured I’d give it a shot on a 5” Corningware piece. This requires keeping a glass top safely attached to glass cookware when removed from storage. Again, it’s impossible to get the snap button to fasten. I decided to try to repurpose the strap by tying charging cords into each opening to keep them separated instead of risking them getting knotted into each other when stored in a bag. My other Sanuk flip flops are made out of yoga mat material and memory foam, but these are made out of something firmer and not as soft and comfortable. You might have a vastly different opinion if you're used to wearing shoes with good arch support. The marshmallow color is a grey'ish white (see photo), which I really like, especially if my nails are painted white. I can't speak to the durability of these, but my other Sanuks have held up with a LOT of use. The wipes have these little 3D plastic beads on one side, and none on the other. I had some mild dirt on my shoes and these wipes were able to get them clean. It says in the description to not use on suede, but I did use the smooth side to remove surface dirt and it didn't cause any damage. I will say, the little beads are tough so if you are using these on a soft material- be careful, because I'm not sure they won't scratch it. The wipes do have a nice fragrance to them, and a bit of a sudsing effect, but it dissappears on it's own. They stayed wet even after use which was surprising because alot of these kinds of wipes dry out before you even finish what you are doing. Even though these are meant for shoes- these could also be used for other things like wiping down leather handbags, wallets, and car steering wheels. You could use them to clean your sports gear like wiping away sweat, dirt, and scuff marks from yoga mats, gym bags, and hard-shell luggage. Very early on, the material it's made from started to "shed" in bits, requiring frequent vacuuming when it's used. I've now spent a little bit more money on a higher quality mat, which I should've done in the first place; buying this one, then the new one, has cost me more in the end. I would recommend spending a few extra dollars on a higher quality mat made from more durable, non-shedding material.
