Duraaamo Black White Striped Rug 4' x 6' for Halloween Outdoor Decor 3 Looks Cute in Photos, but Feels More Plastic Than Rug Ca*** I wanted to like this rug more, but unfortunately it looks and feels pretty cheap in person. The black and white stripe pattern is cute and works well for Halloween or farmhouse-style decorating, but the material is very plasticky and has a noticeable shine to it. Mine also arrived with fairly deep fold marks from being shipped, and they still haven't come out. That makes it difficult to get the rug to lay completely flat and gives it more of a temporary/decorative feel than a nice outdoor rug. I think it could work if you're mainly looking for something inexpensive to put underneath seasonal decorations, but I wouldn't choose it if you're looking for something that looks like a traditional woven rug. For me, the shiny plastic appearance is the biggest drawback. Overall, it serves its purpose as a seasonal decorative piece, but the quality and appearance weren't what I was hoping for. I switched to the plastic straw rugs last summer when our new dog became obsessed with the pool and swimming. He will throw his own toys in the pool just so he can jump in and get them and that was making my old traditional outdoor rug a soggy, stinky mess. Switching to a straw rugs is a game changer, the pool water does not absorb into the rug, and it flows easily under it to the drain. It doesn’t absorb water so it does not stay wet, which I also think has helped with mosquitoes because there is no longer a wet rug for them to breed under. Now on to the camping application, first I love how light weight the plastic straw rug is, making it super easy to travel with and store. The first thing I do when we get set up at a campground is put down the mat right outside our trailer door, I can’t tell you how much dust and dirt that it keeps out of my trailer. The dog also likes laying on it instead of the ground which keeps him so much cleaner as well. It is perfect to use in an outside shower area as well, because it is totally waterproof you don’t need to worry about it and it keeps the shower area clean and nice to stand on. At the end of the trip its so light weight its easy to lift and dust off and fold it up and store it so its ready for the next trip. I will say with a rug this large you definitely need 2 people to easily fold it and shake it out. If your on the fence or been wanting to try a plastic straw rug don’t wait any longer, you wont be disappointed. B0H7T53H2R US
