Just as I suspected, after carefully tearing away the tape, the tape residue was very noticeable, and is proving nearly impossible to remove. I've already used warm water, water and vinegar, rubbing alcohol, and a hair dryer. Nothing works- it only smudges it. Particles are also sticking to it, so before long it'll look very dirty. There's no way I'm using this at my wedding, and I'm being told by the Return Center that because it's custom, returns are not allowed. I reached out to the seller in hopes that they can rectify this somehow. However, my wedding is two weeks away and I shipped via a US freight forwarder because I live in the Caribbean, so I doubt that even if they issued a replacement WITHOUT the masking tape which was completely unnecessary on the front side in my opinion, I doubt I"ll get it in time. Almost overnight really. Anyway, these liners deserve a solid four star rating on quality of material, fitment, and ease of installation. The paperwork says they fit Tacoma and 4Runner but I used them on a GX 470. I don't know how the OEM rubber was completely toasted and crumbling to pieces. The kit comes with fasteners that are close to the factory pins but just a tad short and this small detail does make a difference so if you have OEM pins, good. Either save the old ones as you begin or go buy OEM Toyota pins. First, unpackage the pieces and lay them out in the hot sun for 30 minutes. If it's winter, use an alternate method (hair dryer, etc.) to soften up the rubber and get it kind of flat. So, step 1) Get yourself the Amazon plastic trim panel assortment that comes with a removal tool (shown in red on the picture). Step 2) Remove all the old fasteners and save the ones that are still in good shape or go buy yourself some OEM Toyota pins at the stealership. Don't miss the old pin that is on the shock tower. Step 3) Dry fit the correct pieces for orientation and lining up the holes, basically mirror images but keep track. Step 4) Test your pins to see if they'll fit the hole tight enough to hold the rubber panels. Some of the pins from the Amazon assortment were too loose or too big. When you find the size that works, push it through the rubber hole and on the back side, press the rubber tight and flat against the head of the pin. Step 5) Start the installation from the top and work horizontally, then down. There was one home that didn't align so have a Phillips Screwdriver handy, poke the new hole and insert the final fastener. Rubber pieces have great flexibility and thickness. These will protect the engine bay components from splashes and debris fragments. Not rocks or flood but the usual road debris will stop at this effective barrier. Highly, highly recommended. However, there is a small upper area behind the upper control arm / top of the shock and there is no rubber panel included for that area. You can buy rolls of 4' x 1/16" thickness x 10 feet of the rubber to make your own pieces. Is the kit worth it? ABSOLUTELY YES, WITHOUT ANY RESERVATION! Go for it! Overall Good Kit for the Money Jack P*** Got the kit in a fast and timely manner. Kit seemed good from the outset. Some things I did notice. The original glass is much heavier than this replacement glass. It concerned me but it did work and it works flawlessly. Other than weight, I could not tell the difference once it was installed. The tools are... Cheap. I broke a guitar pick and one of the plastic blade things. Luckily it has two ends to it and I had another one. The tools are def a one and done thing sans the screw driver. The screw driver impressed me tho, as it was already magnetized. This helps tremendously when working with the very tiny and easy to lose screws. Keep a few baggies or containers that you can seal for the screws to be contained in. The smallest screws are about the size of a deer tick. Drop them in a carpet and you got a high chance of not recovering them. The tweezers are not good. Sorry, I couldn't use them and had to use my own. This is not really a problem as most homes should have some tweezers laying around and they were not overall crucial to the install, but def helpful. My screen was completely shattered. I could not use the suction cup (not the kits fault). This required a lot of heat, patience, and a small portable vacumn. I messed up during my removal of the screen and broke the connector for the touch button. Re-installing the new one was next to impossible. I can get it to connect but it wont stay in place once I fold the new glass over the i pad to complete the install. I think I broke the piece that holds the connector in place. It has not rendered my tablet unusable, but it has made it more difficult to use. Again, not the kits fault, that was user error. I think I may need to glue it in. I will also, most likely need to buy a new kit as removing the glass and re-installing it the 4x that I did, compromised the glue. I have set the tablet in a protective case that hides the corners wanting to pop up and keeps it all stable. The key things to remember for this is patience, heat, and watch videos on how to do this. Handle the LCD with care, don't yank the connectors apart, lift them gently. The touch button connector does not come off the same way as the other connectors. Look closely at the removal videos to see how it comes out. This was my downfall. Also, take your time with removing the old glue from the frame. Some areas I had to come at it from different angles with the razor. Dont be afraid to reapply heat to help loosen it up. Take your time and concentrate. Disconnecting the battery connection was a bit of a challenge for me. I was not sure if it popped off or what and I did use some force on it. It turns out, you only need to wedge something thin underneath it to lift it off its connection. Nothing further. Do not try to pry it out. Just a gentle wedge. Finesse. Hair dryer worked well for providing heat. Overall this kit will work and once properly installed, it works well. Be confident in your ability. This is a task that requires finesse and patience and can seem overwhelming at first but once you have it all apart and cleaned up, it is a breeze to get it all back together. Overall, the replacement took me about 3 hours but I suspect if I do it again, it will not take near as long. Its a learning curve but its not steep. B08FLZ8NNZ US

There was honestly more room to be able to pack these things with a little finagling. If I had been more careful about the way I packed, I probably could have fit way more as well. The green toiletry bag is actually bigger than what I'll actually be using (another thing I've ordered that hasn't come yet) and fit perfectly right in the top zipper opening to make it easy to pull out for tsa. The front pocket was just a bit too tight to fit the toiletry bag with the whole pack being stuffed full. I was able to fit a wallet, pens, my phone travel mount and anker battery pack in the front zipper pocket with room for more. I forgot to take a picture so I will have to add that in later. The mesh pockets within the front pocket aren't very stretchy so you can't fit much in them but that doesn't take away from the quality of this bag. I stuffed it to the brim and the zippers held their own and are actually very good quality. I was not concerned with the stitching or zipper quality at all, despite the bag being packed full. The next test was whether or not the bag was actually comfortable being packed so heavy. I have constant lower back pain and being that I bought this bag with the intention of traveling with it more often, I wanted to make sure it wouldn't hurt my back even worse. I wore the fully packed backpack for about an hour while doing various chores around my house and the pack seemed surprisingly light and easy to carry. The straps didn't dig in and I didn't feel the need to lean forward to distribute the weight. This is easily the best backpack I have ever purchased. I look forward to getting some good use out of it. With the material being so sturdy and thick you would think the bag would be unnecessarily heavy but it's actually very lightweight. I don't regret this purchase at all. I love the color of this bag as something that will stand out and the fact that it's expandable. I forgot to check if my water bottle fits in the mesh sides so I will have to come back with a review of that as well. 5 things that could have made this backpack all that: 1. Stow away shoulder straps 2. A separate laptop compartment (not a deal breaker and the top pass-through works well for the toiletry bag. 3. Bigger/ stretchier mesh in the front zippered pocket. 4. A hidden zipper pocket in the back. 5. Two compression straps inside instead of one. Overall I'm in love. Here's what I packed in the back for reference: -1 pair of Ryka sandals -5 pairs of shorts -6 tank tops -1 tshirt -2 dresses -9 pairs of underwear -2 swimsuits and a cover up -1 bra - straightener - hairbrush - makeup bag (black bag in the pictures) - toiletry bag - anker battery pack - airplane phone mount - glasses case - pill case - waterproof phone lanyard in front shove pocket. - 5 pairs of socks in the mesh, inside pocket. I used 3 gonex compression packing bags. I'm blown away by how much this holds. lt could hold even more! Buy it. You won't regret it. B092ZJ5WG5 US

If you’re planning on buying it make sure you’re patient while applying. The more effort you put into it, the better it will look. Just know a heat gun/hair dryer is you’re best friend and applying it in relatively warm weather will probably be better for it when curing (so it’s best not to put it on in the winter). As for the accuracy of the cut outs, it’s a good 7.5/10. I had the most trouble with the sharp turns toward the back of the vehicle as the inner radius was tighter than desired but it worked out when using an exact-o knife. I'm starting to wonder if I should just let my security deposit go and save my sanity. FYI - trying to use Goo Gone just makes it a million times worse - Best way I've found is to heat with a hair dryer, pry off the outer layer with a very strong butter knife and then scrape the adhesive a little bit at a time and roll with your fingers. Just be prepared to lose the top layer of your skin. When you've gotten all but slight residual off, Goo Gone works then. Final opinion - DO NOT BUY unless you plan on leaving them there forever. I think these things would survive a nuclear war. I bought these for a rental. I am completely happy with how they looked, installed, held up, etc. I had several heavy bottles of product in them and they held everything firmly. BUT - now I am trying to remove them. The good news is they do remove without causing damage. The bad news is that it is not easy. Using a blow dryer and a scraper takes the top layer off the wall, but the sticky adhesive is left behind. It takes a lot of time, effort and sore fingers to get it off. Takes me about 1/2 hour to get one completely removed with all the residue gone.
