These colors, paired with the square case give it a groovy late 60s-early 70s retro vibe which I really dig. Overall, the watch is large and weighty, probably too much so for wrists less than 7 1/4 inch in circumference. The size gives it a bold and masculine presence, reminiscent of the muscle cars of that generation. The bracelet is comfortable enough and the links easy to remove. The drawbacks being hollow end links and pressed clasp with only two micro adjustments. I believe I will change it out for a vintage style brown leather band that suits it a little better. There is no hacking or manual winding feature with this older movement, however I expect the same level of accuracy and reliability Seiko is famous for. Some don't like day/date features, but I find them handy at a glance and it keeps with what you'd find in watches of this era. Cool touch to include Spanish options for the day names as well. Overall this seems like a good affordable option to add a Seiko to your lineup, it's my first one and I'm impressed. Despite some of the drawbacks (size, limited movement options, and a sufficient but somewhat lacking bracelet) this will be getting a lot of wrist time from me.
