They even provide a card stating” if the winder fails to operate, try a different USB-C power adapter.” Apparently the manufacturer knows there’s a problem with their product, if they’re telling you to use a different power adapter. I think the manufacturer is failing to provide a USB-C power adapter because they don’t have one that will allow the correct operation. I tried AA batteries and surprisingly it worked consistently for 4 days before stopping. I put new batteries back in & it works, but this item is draining the batteries every 4 days.
