But i've never used a well mounted unit. Are the units to stand on the floor end up getting somewhat dirty and slashed on. I'm hoping this one will. It'd be a little bit more out of the way and stay cleaner. I was surprised at how small it is. Especially with so many refills. It's very compact and easy to use, and the sponges seem to do the trick in cleaning the toilet. As with any of these, I need to put a little bit of pressure onto the refill from the wand and I'm concerned that at some point that my pressure might knock the adhesive from the wall. Jury is still out on that. On the other hand even with other wands, sometimes I've had to put the sponge on the floor and then attach the wand in order to get a secure fit. That doesn't seem like a big deal to me. So so far, though, the fit is pretty secure between the wand and the sponge. And brand new, it's easy to attach the sponge even where the dispenser is hanging. Obviously, as things get older and dirtier, all of those moving parts tend to get a little bit clogged... so we'll see how it goes over time. The wand itself is entirely what looks like, molded plastic - including the threads that attach the two pieces together. That was reasonably easy to do. But somehow, plastic threads that screw together don't feel as secure to me as something that might be aluminum or otherwise.. but so far so good. There's an easy release button to take the scrub brush off of the wand and that works just fine. I do wish the soap had a little bit stronger, fresh scent. I'm surprised at how mild the scent is. But it does the job to clean the bowl and the toilet. With thirty five refills and a dispenser that has a small footprint. I think this is a really nice item. It looks good amongst probably old traditional as well as modern bathroom decor. The adhesive strip suggested it fits better on glass or plastic or tile, and maybe wood, but not on painted walls, stucco walls or particle board. I can easily recommend this product. B0H2VPYZMW US
