The base is on the small side and the manufacturer is aware of this issue because they include a cover plate to help bridge the gap that may be present. I just had to adjust my dispenser to center the seal and I was able to cover up the hole. The handle pumps fine and the bottle holds enough soap. They include a funnel to help with filling but a larger bottle would have been better. The pump can shoot a distance and the volume of a full pump is a little too much for premium, high suds soaps. The soap dispenser has a good weight to it and it seems very sturdy. The LED screen on top is easy to read. To fill the soap dispenser, just unscrew the top and pour in your foaming soap liquid. Make sure you use the foaming one, not regular hand soap. Put the top back on, turn it on with the press of the button, and you are good to go. You can also adjust the amount of foam that comes out with that same button. I keep it on the #1 setting, because that is plenty of foam for a handwash. I really like the look and performance of this automatic foaming soap dispenser. I highly recommend it.
