They are EXTREMELY comfortable – easily the most comfortable headphones I have ever owned. I typically wear headphones for a few hours each day as I do yard work, exercise, or perform other tasks around the house. My use is 98% spoken word – podcasts, Periscopes, YouTube videos, and recorded books. For that use, these are PERFECT!! If I spent my time primarily listening to music, these would not be my preferred headphones because the bass is relatively weak compared with many of my larger, over-the-ear headphones. When I changed the music equalizer setting on my iPhone to “Bass Booster,” they are definitely OK for music, but not great. However, for spoken word, these are ideal. They feel very durable because the wire that wraps around your head is relatively thick compared with some of my other headphones. There is only one, well-positioned button, so there is no confusion about turning the headphone on or off or answering a phone call. The same button is used to start and stop music, podcasts, etc., which is very handy. The volume is controlled by your cell phone, not by the headphones. I didn’t see any microphone on the headphones, so I had my wife call me to see if it could work as a headset to speak on a phone call. After pressing the one button to answer her call, we were both amazed at the sound quality going both ways. With the open ear design, this might be great headphones for jogging, using in the car, or riding on a bike because you should still be able to hear traffic noises. This was a great purchase!
