I've been using them for months now. I go through maybe one a week and I have had zero problems with them. No unintentional punctures. No rips. No leaks. They are absolutely strong enough for normal stuff. Be careful with massive amounts of paper or other stuff that gets heavy when piled up. I have done this but I supported the bag from underneath when I carried it. I mostly use these as over size bags for the kitchen trash can. These bags are nice and big enough to hold a lot of leaves. My wife and I would take turns holding the bag open while the other person filled the bag with cuttings, leaves and yard debris. When the bag would mostly get full we would compress the whole bag to compact the leaves and stuff together to maximize how much we could fit in the bags. These bags did pretty well. Of course, there were a couple of times a really sharp twig came poking through, but generally the thickness held up pretty well and we were able to get a lot in half a dozen bags. The bags sat for half a week in the sun before trash collection day and it rained one day in between. They were easily moved when we needed to get them to the curb. I would say they are pretty much the same as my regular trash bags for outdoor work and thicker than my kitchen bags. I didn't have any of my old bags to compare these to because I had used them all up, but I really didn't notice any difference.... seemed like same quality to me. I did order some cheap bags for the office based solely on price and they came super thin and all the people at the office said those weren't very thick...but that was for the office which is usually paper and kitchen garbage. Nobody took those home with them because they didn't want them. I certainly wouldn't order those other ones for use at home and especially not for yard use. I love the fact that these 46-gallon bulk black trash bags came in a pack of 90. The trash bags are considered heavy-duty and are 2 mil. I definitely wouldn’t consider these to be contractor bags if that is what you are looking for. We are used to using bags that are 6 mil and are much more heavy-duty than these. That being said, if you want a large trash bag that is a little more heavy-duty than a standard garbage bag, then these might work. They don’t tear very easily, but they do stretch out and will eventually get a hole in them. They do puncture more easily with sharp items, but they are sealed well at the bottom. I do wish they were packaged as a roll instead of stacked and folded on top of each other. Overall, these are decent trash bags, but not very heavy-duty. They aren’t like contractor bags but are a little more heavy-duty than a standard trash bag. I really like that they come in a bulk package but wish they were easier to pull out of the box. They aren’t noticeably thicker than standard kitchen trash bags. There are no tabs or other features to help separate and open them, though. The black plastic is useful when you do not want the contents visible. All 90 bags arrive folded together in one large box rather than on rolls, so you will need to pull them out individually and find a place to store the bulky box.
