However, I was very frustrated by the way this was packaged. I bought this to be more eco conscious, and the package was divided into four roll packages, each wrapped in plastic. Which was all wrapped in the big plastic on the outside. What was the point of buying eco friendly toilet paper to try to help the planet if it's wrapped in 7 different plastic wrappers? I feel like having so much plastic wrapping these things defeats the purpose of going out of your way to buy recycled toilet paper in bulk online. I've since decided to just keep buying the regular stuff because it's easier and being eco-friendly is not my highest priority right now. However, there are many people who strive to be very eco-conscious and reducing their carbon footprint is a big priority for them. For those people, I wouldn't recommend this product -- not because the quality of the toilet paper (that was just fine) but because you're getting yards and yards of plastic with your purchase. The can wiggles if there aren't a lot of diapers weighing it down. With a squirming baby it's not ideal to need two hands to open a diaper pail. Glad Small Trash Bags 4 Gallon, Febreze Fresh Clean Garbage Bags, Odor Resistant with Quick Tie, 26 Count 1 Walmart bags WAY better and WAY cheaper Joe *** Glad charges about TWICE as much as Walmart’s store brand for bags that are made to be as CHEAP … for THEM to MANUFACTURE. Each one obviously produced by simply pinching off a tube of plastic as it comes down the line, with the contoured flaps of one bag corresponding to the *gathered* bottom of the one before it. That’s great… for the Glad company. And it makes EVERYTHING about it lousy for the customer… at a HUGE markup in price just for the brand name. First of all, having all four flaps gathered at the middle makes it a puzzle to figure out opening them. As if it isn’t difficult enough, the plastic itself must have been selected for cost, not quality: I have never seem a plastic bag with more **static** - so much so that if I place the wastebasket with the bag in it near a wall or desk, the flaps fly out from the side of the wastebasket toward the wall. The static problem also makes it difficult to get the bag to conform to the inside of the wastebasket. I airways wind up wasting an inordinate amount of time trying to get the air out from between the bag and the wastebasket so that it’s not “poofing” in to the middle. And since the bag that is gathered, it reaches the flat bottom of a wastebasket ONLY AT THE MIDDLE. For a small volume to begin with, all that poofiness makes a huge difference. The result is an EXPENSIVE bag that WASTES a HUGE amount of TIME and EFFORT just to place in the wastebasket. Then, the first thing you toss in there pulls the bag down, requiring MORE wasted time and effort to reposition.. And when the bag is full, you pull it out and get another surprise: the bags are actually MUCH SHORTER than the ones you can buy at Walmart for half the price. This becomes *obvious* when you try to tie the bag shut. Yep. You can fill it up about halfway before there’s just not enough bag left to tie the flaps together. I know that’s a long review for such an ordinary, unglamorous product. But I think it is warranted given the kind of corporate disdain for customers that it represents. I consider it essentially *dishonest* to sell a product that is more of a disservice than a usable convenience item that any reasonable person should expect. The company produces something that serves THEIR objectives - cheap to produce; sold at a premium - and doesn’t actually fulfill the purpose without a lot of hassle.
