The quality is better than I expected. The mirror itself gives a clear reflection without obvious distortion at normal viewing distance, and the frame and stand feel reasonably substantial. The base keeps it positioned securely on a vanity or counter, and adjusting the viewing angle doesn't make the whole thing feel flimsy. The different lighting options are one of my favorite features. The brightness can be adjusted depending on the room, and having three color temperatures is genuinely useful. Warm light, neutral light, and cooler daylight-style illumination can make makeup look surprisingly different, so being able to switch between them helps give a better idea of how everything will look in different environments. It can also get plenty bright when I need more illumination for detailed work. The magnification is another big advantage. The 10X option is practical for closer work such as eyeliner, eyebrows, contact lenses, or checking smaller areas of the skin. A vanity mirror is much more convenient when it doesn't need to remain plugged into the wall, and I don't have to keep feeding it disposable batteries. I can charge it and then position it wherever the lighting and viewing angle are best without having a cord stretched across the counter. Despite having a fairly generous size, it doesn't take over the entire vanity. There's enough mirror area to make it genuinely useful for getting ready, but the design still feels appropriate for a tabletop setup. The larger surface is actually one of the reasons I prefer it over the little travel-style lighted mirrors. The weight is also balanced nicely. It's substantial enough to remain stable when I'm using or adjusting it, but it's not so heavy that moving it around becomes inconvenient.
