But when I started buying a variety of soda (weekly D&D for a bunch of teens), my husband started to consume soda from cans instead of 2 liters and he decided it would be fun to take our cans to the metal recycler that pays for aluminum. I didn't want huge bags of cans building up between trips there so he needed to compact the cans. I was mounting it on a stud in the garage but also wanted to attach the other two screws for extra security. There were no instructions in the box, so I didn't know what size drill bit to use for the anchors. I guessed 1/4 inch and was probably right, but was having trouble getting the anchors into the holes, so I went up one bit size... and then the anchors slipped in and pushed all the way through. (I still don't know how those were supposed to work since they had no lip to keep them in place over the drywall even if I had gotten them in the 1/4" hole.) I used some of my own anchors and got the crusher up on the wall. Next I drilled pilot holes in the center holes of the crusher. When I tried to screw in the first screw, it stripped shortly after it hit the wood, so I drilled a slightly larger pilot hole for the next hole. That screw stripped too. I used pliers to twist out the screws then I grabbed a couple drywall screws and screwed them all the way in with no problems. No one else has complained about installation, but I was not impressed. My husband and I found the crusher to be a little hard to use at first because of our lack of experience. But my husband says it's faster and easier than smashing cans with his foot. I figure it could be a good chore for the teens. I think the quality of the crusher seems good, and I don't regret installing it, but I recommend using your own anchors and screws, since the ones provided seem poor quality. B0GP8WT1SV US

The main downside is that they do tear fairly easily. Also, like with a lot of perforated bags, it can be a little annoying to figure out exactly where the perforated edge is when you’re trying to separate one from the roll.
