Otak*** In theory this is a great idea and the design appears to be sound. I found that not to be the case for this product now that I've owned it over a year now and I can be truthful that I would not purchase this item again. The trimmer attached to my weed eater just fine and the individual strings load as easy as described. The unfortunate problems is the self unload themselves just as easy. This little problem showed up about 3 minutes into my first trimming session with this product. Maybe its the power of my gas trimmer vs. a weaker electric model but if you touch anything thicker than regular grass or weeds the strings detach in a big hurry. Sometimes all 4 would just fly out simultaneously and good luck finding them. I'm not talking about trimming against a fence, or small trees, just brushing up against the wood borders around our flower beds is all that is need to toss a string or two. In the year or so I"ve owned this product it has been used about 6 or so times. In that time I've been through an entire package of replacement strings and given I've used this item maybe 30 minutes total, I don't see this product as economical. Needless to say its in the trash and good riddance. So, A+ for theory of design, F for functionality and use. I'll be trying something else here very soon as I can order one from Amazon.
