I might have something else that is a vegetable that’s there broccoli or whatever I just wanna warm it up and I’ll put everything in there for a couple of minutes and then or even zero minutes zero minutes to warm it up usually yes you can do zero minutes and it’ll come to pressure and then it goes off and if it’s just a warm-up, the thing is steamed hot already that chicken is hot to the bone so by the time you hit a release on it and by the time you can open the lid that that chicken is hot so it’s a real nice way to warm up leftovers. If you know, I’m in the microwave or you can’t get to it or can’t turn it on or whatever reason it’s not working this gadget is good Sandy and I would recommend it for anybody. I just cut my potatoes in half a little red potatoes and put them on the bottom of the instant pot put my green beans on top and I use all of the fluid that’s in the green beans as the fluid for steaming or pressure cooking. I cook my bacon on the stove in a skillet and I drain it off and I smash it with paper towels to get as much as the grease out as I can and I put that on top of the green beans and I steam that for about 20 minutes, those potatoes are good and soft and the green beans are delicious in the bacon has gone through the smell all through that pot. it’s fantastic. It’s delicious. It’s a easy thing. It doesn’t take long. Assembly of the window exhaust is straightforward. Unit is pretty noisy but in my situation it sure beat no AC. If I had one complaint or negative it’s the very low location of the condensation drain. Apparently this is seldom used because the manual suggests the unit is designed to magically shed condensation. However in a high humidity environment you’d need to drain the pan. This drain is located way down almost at floor level. I don’t see any means of getting a vessel under it to let the water escape. They do provide a length of vinyl hose you can connect to the drain but…it won’t flow uphill. So again, anything more then maybe a 1/2” height is probably too tall to receive the outflow. Aside from that, it’s plenty powerful and easy to hook up and take down.
